The immigration bill the Senate began debating this month will create a national biometric database of virtually every adult in the US.
The immigration bill will create a massive federal database administered by the Department of Homeland Security and containing names, ages, Social Security numbers and photographs of everyone in the country.
Mother Jones reported:
Pointing to a section of the bill that mandates a CIS photo tool database to enhance E-Verify checks (PDF), Wired last month ominously warned that it would create a national biometric database of virtually every adult in the US through the collection of state-issued photo IDs. (Biometrics, measurements of physical characteristics like photographs, fingerprints, or iris scans, are used to check against database entries to verify a persons identityfingerprints are a biometric commonly used to track immigrants entering the country.)
A Senate aide contacted by the Daily Beast disputed Wireds report, arguing that the a Supreme Court ruling called Printz v. US would prohibit the federal government from forcing state officials to turn over drivers license images for the CIS database. Even so, the feds already have passport photos, and states could voluntarily hand over additional information.
It looks like the senate aide was wrong.
Already the faces of more than 120 million people are stored in searchable photo databases that officials assembled to prevent drivers-license fraud but that increasingly are used by police to identify suspects, accomplices and even innocent bystanders in a wide range of criminal investigations.
Obamacare will also share personal private health information with federal and state agencies.
People don’t have RF ID chips and bar codes already? Why has the Current Regime been so remiss in the implementation of this technology?
This must be addressed IMMEDIATELY. Nobody walks away.
(Do I HAVE to include the “sarcasm” tag?)
There already IS a national database covering all Americans!
My mother almost canceled her cruise when it became almost impossible to get her passport. They did not want to accept her birth certificate or her drivers license. And I mean she is the typical white grandmother type.
Yet we can't require people to show ID when voting? We are on run-away train to ruination!
Muzzies will be exempt of course.
Unfortunately the only way that any data base will be able to determine if a individual is correctly identified and eligible to work in the US will be to have a data base on everyone. If we ever want to end illegal immigration we will need to have a record of all citizens..simple as that. Ether a passport, driver’s license or state ID for everyone.
I’m betting that the Obama’s , Clinton’s, most Congress critters and of course Burny Fanks won’t be in that data base.
What is “citizen”?
In order to make thier changes we need to be brought in line outnumbered and overwhelmed
Yeah, and we’re not allowed to ask for a photo ID when people want to vote?
But not the Tsarnaevs.
Be a planted digital chip. Can hold tons of data, medical records, tax returns .... everything. Theyll be able to scan a whole room or crowd and know everyone that is there. (or isnt there)
This tech can be used against them as well, imagine finding a lib and planting a “America’s Most Wanted Chip” on them....
Chips can be copied using hacker tools as well, not to mention all the illegals that would exploit “black market chips” to get even MORE freebies...

I have the sneaking suspicion that we could define it as slave to the state

The only good thing about this is that we know how it ends.

That’s right, now put down that big gulp!

If you're not inclined to read the book, at least read the Cliff Notes.
