While working for spies, Snowden was secretly prolific online

While working for U.S. intelligence agencies, Edward Snowden had another secret identity: an online commentator who anonymously railed against citizen surveillance and corporate greed.

Throughout the eight years that Snowden worked for the Central Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency contractors, he posted hundreds of messages on a public Internet forum under a pseudonym.

"I can't hope to change the way things are going by overtly complaining, writing letters, or blowing things up," Snowden wrote in 2003 in response to a discussion about corporate greed on the Ars Technica online forum.

Snowden was employed by an unidentified classified agency in Washington from 2005 to mid-2006, by the CIA from 2006 to 2009, when he primarily worked overseas, and by Dell Inc from 2009 to 2013, when he worked in the United States and Japan as an NSA contractor.

He was also a prolific commentator on technology forum Ars Technica, posting approximately 750 messages using the screen name "The True HOOHA" from late 2001 to 2012.

Snowden told employers he took computer classes at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, earned a certificate from the University of Maryland's campus in Tokyo, and expected in 2013 to earn a master's degree in computer security from the University of Liverpool in England.

A Johns Hopkins spokeswoman said she could not find a record of Snowden's attendance but he may have taken correspondence courses for which records are not kept. A Maryland official confirmed Snowden attended at least one summer class. A Liverpool spokeswoman said Snowden registered for an online master's degree in computer security in 2011, but did not complete it.

This is the best the NSA and CIA can recruit?

Apparently, his family has connections to these jobs. That is most likely how he got the job. Nepotism. “Sure my son doesn’t meet any of the qualifications on paper, but he’s smart and he knows the stuff anyway.” “All right, Fred, we’ll try him out. Can you give me a Mulligan on that last shot?”

We regularly employed brain injured people as labor grade 2 equivalents to do the stair cleaning in our buildings. They had access to everywhere ~

It's possible NSA doesn't really want to tell us what this guy's job was ~ which might have simply been a cover for a spy.

And so it begins. I’m sure the idiot in chief will personally be directing the drone to get this leaker, uh—movie maker, us—spy.

“Railed against corporate greed”

What kind of lefty could lambaste him and discredit THAT? The critic would have to be a complete status-quo, establishment LICKSPITTLE.

you know what would be funny? Asking MICHAEL MOORE what he thought about Snowden. Or Matt Damon.

A spy donning protective color ~ nothing new in that. Now, what did he really know ~ we need to see that. So far the goodies just aren’t showing up.

From the beginning this reminded me of a movie I saw in the 1980s and many times since, and in fact last week it turned up on one of my cable movie channels and I watched some of it againThe Falcon and the Snowman where his dad was head of security and got him his clearance and job:

Boyce, an expert in the sport of falconry—thus, the nickname “Falcon”—gets a job at a civilian defense contractor (TRW, though it is called “RTX” in the movie) working in the so-called “Black Vault”, a secure communication facility through which flows information on some of the most classified U.S. operations in the world. Boyce becomes disillusioned with the U.S. government through his new position, especially after reading a misrouted communiqué dealing with the CIA’s plan to depose the Prime Minister of Australia. Frustrated by this duplicity, Boyce decides to repay his government by passing classified secrets to the Soviets

I don’t buy Snowden’s story.

I’m still of the opinion this guy is an Obama/Clinton operative and this “leak” was planned as part of the Benghazi cover up.

It’s going to be real hard for anyone that has been saying over and over again that Obama using the NSA to sweep up records is necessary to fight terrorism, to then turn and say Obama/Clinton have been collaborating with terrorist.

It appears to me they are using these scandals to create “conditioned responses” the same way an attorney will use “conditioned responses” to sway a jury.
