Six months since the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., parents of some of the youngest victims plan to visit Capitol Hill again this week to meet with lawmakers about crafting a bill to impose stricter gun laws.
Gun-control groups are scheduling the parents to attend another round of meetings and other public events — including a reading of the names of people killed by guns since the Newtown shooting — in a push to restart debate on the issue sometime in the coming months.
But try as they might, prospects for a new gun-control bill appear to be no better than in April, when the Senate swiftly defeated a bipartisan gun-control bill and delivered an embarrassing defeat to President Obama. Plus, with the Senate already scheduled to spend most of June debating a bipartisan immigration overhaul bill, there’s little room for discussion of other issues.

Agreed. I know a lot of fabric district owners who say the same thing. My former boss who relocated back to canada for 10 years was impressed at the work ethic of illegals. As long as you pay them..
ALL of those business owners, however, have an extremely low opinion of blacks. The most common description I heard was lazy’. Here near Skid Row, the mexicans also have a low opinion of them too.

Given the levels of abortion in America, ‘the parents of the dead children’ extends well beyond just the Sandy Hook parents.
Also, what about the parents of living children whose lives were saved by guns?
One of the problems with liberals is their single entry accounting practices when it comes to public policy. I mean if we were talking about Dr. Adam Lanza, abortionist, would this even be an issue?

It would seem like there are a certain number of such traitors to liberty than don’t care about anything larger than themselves.
