After sending a subtantial volume of email in last few weeks to Sens. Chambliss and Isakson, I was unable to get through on any of their phone comment/contact lines this morning. And I will keep trying.
I hope this means we are frying the phone lines in opposition to the cloture vote on S.B. 744 early this afternoon.
Today is the day when your activism and loud(er) voice can make the difference. Please take a moment... Spend a dime.
BUMP!
They have the votes.
54 Dem votes + McCain, Graham, Flake, Rubio, Hatch, Ayotte, etc..
Thanks for all the public hearings, you POS evil Congress.
Rubio’s first lie proven false. They DO have the votes. Nobody believes his sandbagging anyway.
“And I will keep trying”
Good luck with that. I’ve noticed when their votes are going to screw Georgians, they busy out their lines.
This is 0bamaCare de ja vu, all over again.
Pressure the Dems in tough races, too. Don’t let them think they can just skate by because everybody’s distracted by all the scandals.
Time to either fly the white flag or pick up a rifle. They are not listening, don’t care, or their agenda is different than that of mainstream US.
Already, one statistic showed something like 1/2% of the population controlling 38% of wealth in the US. If you take the top 20%, they control almost all wealth in the US. The bottom half have almost nothing left after the recession. What you have is a huge underclass that isn't employed and is becoming unemployable over time. No civilization has survived such a massive imbalance. We've done the Roman/British Empire thing of trying to delay the inevitable by grabbing the whole world's resources...but we still have that underclass.
And what is "immigration reform" going to do? Well, it's going to provide worker competition that will keep wages and opportunities depressed and even further increase the numbers in the underclass.
The numbers don't lie. The US cannot survive as a civilization (I contend that as a civilization we've already fallen) with an even larger underclass, and abandoning those elements of the population that have been unemployed for a few decades.
And what's the solution been? Now, it's morning-after pills for girls of any age, I suspect so the underclass stops producing children. It's creating situations where people won't leave their homes, for fear of safety or disease or whatever. It's creating a situation where most of the population has so much debt it loses freedom of movement.
The numbers don't lie. I suspect these 'pub sellouts don't even realize the implications of adding millions to the underclass. Either that or they believe (as the globalist elitists do) that the population can be managed.
Am I making any sense?
After all that has happened including ObamaCare, the IRS, the NSA and the war zone formerly know as the U.S. southern border, and McCain/Kennedy/Bush, I find that highly unlikely.

Who ever crosses over to the dark side and votes for this, votes AGAINST America and FOR special interest groups...just like 0Care!! We'll know whose price(s) have been met, by who votes YES.
Left them both a reasonably polite but emphatic ear-full.
It was a simple message:
NO!!!! NO!!!! NO!!!! NO!!!!
We'll see...

The time of the mail box has long passed.
The time of the soap box is rapidly ending.
That leaves only one box left.
Get yours, while supplies last...
I think some public demonstrations are in order.
This is how Maryland colonists, subjects of the King of England, responded to the Stamp Act:
“The crowd fashioned an effigy of the stamp distributor, which they paraded throughout the town in a cart while a bell tolled mournfully. Hoods effigy was then flogged, placed in a pillory, hanged and finally burned. Crowds elsewhere in the province soon staged similar proceedings.”
It’s time.
I guess our only hope is that this will die in the House.
You are correct.
It is heresy around here, but you are correct.
