I think some public demonstrations are in order.
This is how Maryland colonists, subjects of the King of England, responded to the Stamp Act:
“The crowd fashioned an effigy of the stamp distributor, which they paraded throughout the town in a cart while a bell tolled mournfully. Hoods effigy was then flogged, placed in a pillory, hanged and finally burned. Crowds elsewhere in the province soon staged similar proceedings.”
It’s time.
Didn't you hear? Peaceful protests in support of the Consititution and all things American require the submission of emails, websites, handouts, prior speeches, current and former friends as well. Then MAYBE the Tea Party folks can petition the government - eventually.
The occupy crowd, on the other hand, gets carte blanche.
They expect public demonstrations...but will continue to piece meal us just the same....protests will do nothing to change the course of the agenda now in full play......
