House Speaker John Boehner today called NSA leaker Edward Snowden a “traitor” who put Americans at risk by releasing classified information to the media. “He’s a traitor,” the highest ranking Republican in the House of Representatives said in an extensive interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos. “The disclosure of this information puts Americans ... continued here

Boner won't mind when blackmailed by 0bama using NSA intercepts of his emails, logs of his phone calls, and websites he's visited.

IRS + NSA = Big Brother.

Fourth Amendment

So, let’s hide the ball and demonize the messenger. The real story is the FACT that our Constitution is being trampled on.

How is the Constitution being trampled on by NSA seeking out terrorists? Who's individual right has been knowingly violated or punished for what he said in email or phone? It is a machine doing the listening. No action will be taken until certain code words are spoken! We condoned this under Bush but not Obummer? See any hypocrisy there?

I am a George Bush fan, but Bush didn’t take it as far as these hooligans have.

the government is answerable to the people, that is how it is structured. perhaps you need to go back to school

You keep your ungrounded allegations to yourself, you are showing that you are really a Democrat who loves controlling others.

I don’t have a problem with what you said. This Government is not ours any more. Hasn’t been for decades. It ended when over 400 historians took out a full page add in the New York Times, each by name, asserting that “a blow job” is not an impeachable offence. A very fantastic, romantic gesture meant to obscure the real offense of outright LYING to a grand jury.

Among the signatories was Doris Kearns Goodwin, the old gray hoor the left likes to dredge up when there is a “Constitutional Problem.

If Boehner's definition of traitor means "turning-against and failing to support the commies in government who have infringed our gun rights, provided comfort and aid to America's enemies, and subjected our citizenry to undo search and seizure" ... then, yes, he is a "traitor". He's a traitor to "them", the domestic enemy. But, We the People largely don't have a problem with a whistle-blower reporting un-American activities in government to us. We kinda like that. It's a dangerous job he had the courage to do.

If it does THEN the government will prove it is abusing the system to protect us and no court will ever approve it. In the meantime NSA must keep listening! Won’t you feel foolish if they miss another 9/11?

These ‘leaders’ once elected forget that protest is an honored tradition in this nation. This is a protest.
The government can do whatever it chooses and then define what is legal and not and for whom. They get to label treason and criminality in that fashion. These are not platforms they run on.

Those who want to deny Americans their freedom squawk the loudest when exposed.
That's all you need to see and hear folks... those who are crying fowl the most are those who want to deny your freedom.

The problem isn’t the NSA. It is the 600 pound gorilla in the room no one seems to want to notice.

You cannot have a program like this if it’s going to be used for political purposes. Just like the IRS needs to be shut down as well as the EPA and numerous other agencies that no longer serve a function other then as an arm of the DNC.

The President is accountable. Period. He is supposed to be President of all the people, not some community organizer with an agenda.

Interesting how the masks come off. They are trying to to protect what they built... ignore any inconvenient laws broken, perjury, and billions spent to spy on our own citizens. Attack messenger. What is the end game, why was this built.

Fox is also responding with similar response. Rush has declared Obama cant be impeach, basically stop discussion of such

The Washington Republican elites think that terrorists blowing up a building in a major city some day is the biggest concern in the world, although your chance of being in such an event is I’m sure much less than one in a million.

Also, the probability of such an event could be reduced by reducing the number of MUSLIMS we bring in this country.

On the other side, the chances of government abusing this information to harm your average citizen whether they are in rural America or the big city is almost a total certainty.

How many billions of dollars are being spent on building the data facility in Utah?
But we can’t afford hot meals for Marines in Afghanistan.

How long before republicans go along with the idea of making RFID implants mandatory for every citizen?
That way the government will be able to start building personal data files at birth.
(there will be an exception for illegals)

How long before the federal government makes it illegal for citizens to NOT be registered in the national database?

How long before it becomes illegal to live off the grid and out of a government “approved” residential area?

How long before it is illegal to purchase guns and ammo unless you are registered on the national database and have government approval to make the purchase?
