Happy weekend to one and all. And now for something completely different. Or, not:
---snip---
OK, so the question is, what is the craziest, dumbest, most relentlessly idiotic, jaw-droppingly imbecilic thing ever said to you by a liberal? And I don't mean the usual "Obama is good", "Republicans are mean" LIV talking points, I'm talking about remarks that are just so full of weapons-grade stupid that you're left gasping for air like a gutted fish, completely speechless, and feeling like your head has been filled with Elmer's glue.
Just how dumb can they get? Let's see what you've got.
And no fair just Googling for quotes from Nancy Pelosi or Keith Olbermann, it has to be something that was said directly to you personally.
I'll prime the pump with a few examples:
"The main stream media are hopelessly biased in favour of the right - a result of the fact that they are owned by mega-corporations."
A woman I met in a dog park in San Diego told me that she didn't mind illegal immigration as long as it didn't bring down her property values
Another one responded to my reference to the famous Chesterton quote about how people shouldn't change things without first understanding why they are the way they are in the first place by asking me if I thought women should be allowed to wear pants.
And this last one is moron-worthy:
I was once told by my friend's girlfriend that Kentucky Fried Chicken had to change its name to KFC because all the antibiotics they gave to the chickens had mutated them to such an extent that they could no longer be legally called chicken. I thought she was joking and laughed....

“I would give my life for a tree.”
Ha, I thought I recognized the host of that video clip. How absolutely bat-guano, hide-the-knives insane do you have to be to have Cenk Uygur making fun of you on Current TV, whoa.
I’ve heard “We invaded Afghanistan for the oil”. And no, I am not making this up.
A teacher said in class “ I always wanted to go to a Bill Graham crusade, I never seen someone make people bark like dogs before. “
I started to correct her but it occurred to me that if I told her she might not go. He was speaking in town next month.
“Obama plays golf?”. . .after I mentioned he has played more golf than any President in history.

A buddy of mine I’ve known since early childhood (who is no longer a full on lib - too smart): I hate arguing politics with you, you bring up too many facts.
When I tried to discuss with a liberal woman that Obama has created a very bad job environment for blacks, she said, “But that is genetic, like breeding Collies for certain characteristics. It’s genetic that blacks cannot work.”
I told her that is totally racist, and she was insulted, claiming no way was she a racist. I tried to explain that claiming it was genetic that blacks could not work was racist. She just refused to accept that that was what liberals believe, and yes, it is racist.
That women received the right to vote in the 1950s. She waa really offfended when I could not stop laughing.
How about the “Guam in danger of capsizing” comment by some moron?
Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
A Liberal is a person too broad-minded to take their own side in an argument.
You & me both. My best friend said it to me w a straight face. It’s downright discouraging; it really is.
I think he played a doctor on TV . . .
Oh that’s easy!
“We have to vote for Republicans NO MATTER WHAT”.
Ooooh! Ooooh! I have a great one!
Liberal lady I know talking about Obama’s relentless acquisition of data about Americans, the IRS scandal, expansion of DHS, storm-trooper tactics, invasion of Libya, invasion of Syria, Benghazi, Fast and Furious: “Obama isn’t really a liberal at all. I’m so disappointed, apart from Obamacare I mean. It turns out he’s secretly a conservative because he did all these horrible things.”
Genius! This woman has an advanced degree in IT and gets paid wads of our money to do very difficult things. But she still has some kind of misfire in her neural wiring. I was so shocked I couldn’t even make my mouth work to refute her.
LOL!
I had a lib female friend tell me:”The problem with you is that when you get done speaking, there’s nothing left to say.”
Saving this one for later
Can’t play in this game, I do not talk to liberals.

The still extremely popular advertisement exhortation and corollary is:
"Use a plastic bag and save a tree."
oil --> plastic
tree --> paper
Back in the '80s on a long flight I had a detailed conversation with a top executive of International Paper Company regarding their operation of large tracts continuously growing renewable loblolly pines for the kraft paper used in bags and corrugated cardboard. The unique conditions for growing such trees is in the North American Southeast, whose trees produces paper for the finest corrugated board unparalleled anywhere else in the world.
And one of the best sources for kraft paper and cardboard boxes is the recycling of clean bundled boxes returned for recycling, without having to execute the conversion of wood chips into pulp for paper production.
The sun, chlorophyll, water, and carbon dioxide just keeps on producing renewable wood embodying the stored sun's energy, which at the worst can be recovered through burning of paper too dirty for recycling.
Common sense: oil is not renewable, trees are--tracts harvested every 33 years--just like cows or fish or cabbage or -- well, you name it. And continuously profitable.
Liberal enviromentalista illogic: use non-living plastic to avoid killing a growing tree in its maturity, an obscene misuse of a living shade-giving plant, thus diminishing the number of trees because of selfish reasons.
Unequalled, supreme, blatant stupidity.
