For several months, the Benghazi scandal lay dormant, apparently forgiven and forgotten. Then, inexplicably, it reared its ugly head when Congressmen Ron Johnson and Jason Chaffetz smelled Obama's blood in the water.
After feigning affliction with the flu, and then ostensibly tumbling down a carpeted stairwell resulting in an unconfirmed concussion, then-Secretary of State Clinton was finally forced to testify before Congress. Clinton's desperate attempt to put the Benghazi scandal to rest with her now-infamous impassioned declaration -- "What difference, at this point, does it make?" -- only fanned the flames of American outrage at the needless deaths of Ambassador Chris Stevens, his aide Sean Smith, and two valiant Navy SEALS, Tyrone Woods and Glen Dougherty.
At this point, the focus of the investigation was confined to the failure of the Obama regime to adequately protect the American consulate in a hostile country and its subsequent attempt to cover up that ignominy. Nobody, except us conspiracy theorists, was asking about the real reason for the coordinated terrorist attack. Hint: it was not a video mocking Islam. Here are the questions that should have been asked, but were not:
Why was American security systematically withdrawn and transferred to incompetent Libyan operatives several month before the attack?
What were the missions of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods, and Glen Dougherty?
Why was the order to "stand down" given to ready and able military rescue forces?

Benghazi didn't have a consulate; diplomatic mission, yes; consulate, no.
Exactly. The “who” gave the orders in all these scandals is Obama himself. If it was anyone other than Obama, we would have the names by now. The fact that no one will say leads to the conclusion that it was him. I guess they are all scared to death which is so wrong.
The Benghazi thing was and is a real threat and impeachable. What we are seeing now is the classic lawyer technique of muddying the waters with scandal after scandal so visibility on everything scandalous is zero. In “normal” times the MS wouldn’t let any admin get away with this, but the MSM is actually helping the admin. Remember ALL of our rulers are, deep down, just 2 bit lawyers...
Seems pretty simple. If there were stand down orders and he is the ONLY ONE who can give stand down orders then he is guilty!
And anyone who does not do something about this is as much to blame and should suffer the consequences also.
Sure they’re scared. His handlers have long tentacles.
That’s why nothing will be done about anything he does.

Think we are allowed to have multiple scandals. We’ve seen it this way before and it was handled.
Impeachment is merely fact finding and a recommendation by the House of Representatives. The Senate may then vote to retain or remove the President. It is akin to the procedures some organizations have for removing an employee. That is how people should view impeachment. It’s a process to see whether an employee of the US taxpayers should be removed.
Benghazi is a different story. It’s not just about removing an employee. It is way more serious than that. Benghazi leads to questioning our involvement in the overthrow of the government of Libya. Why did Hillary and Obama use American taxpayer funded personnel, equipment and money to overthrow the government of Libya? Have Hillary and Obama ever shown any previous care and concern for the people of Libya? No. But there are a lot of people interested in Qadaffi’s money and the oil in Libya. Hillary and Obama are standing here with their asses hanging out over Libya. What they’ve done doesn’t just get you fired, it gets you in front of a tribunal. That’s why Benghazi is so dangerous to them. These other issues can get you fired. Benghazi can get them life in prison or hung. The Democrats will do anything to get rid of Benghazi.

Yes we are. The impenetrable fortress walls around this administration are finally starting to crumble. If this was them putting out multiple scandals to muddy the waters it is backfiring bigtime.
And weren’t one (or more) of these “new” scandals leaked or otherwise revealed by the agencies themselves?
Such a release doesn’t equal a “devastating revelation” so much as a scripted and cynical ploy to manipulate the news.
We’re being played here, folks.

The scandal dump isn’t so much a smokescreen as a ruse to get people to believe a lie by repeating it over and over again like they did with the “spontaneous” lie.
The Obama adm. repeated “spontaneous” over and over again so people would repeat over and over again the lie that there was no connection to the attack in Libya and the video protest in Egypt.
The truth is the protest in Egypt was planned in order to create the “spontaneous” lie. It was the Obama adm. that planned the attack in Libya and the “spontaneous” lie was a cover story. Those terrorist are so in tune with the news don’t you know, they can pick up on a news story and plan a terrorist attack in just a few minutes, nothing was planned months in advance, it was spontaneous.
The same thing is happening with the NSA phone data scandal.
You now have all of these people out here, republicans and democrats, repeating over and over and over again “it’s necessary to fight terrorism”.
It’s a ruse to make people believe Obama is really trying to fight terrorism when he’s not he’s actually collaborating with the terrorist as shown with Benghazi.
The attempted car bombing in NYC May 1, 2010, and the planned subway bombing in 2009 (the one they are now trying to claim was stopped because of NSA data gathering) are perfect examples of where the Obama adm. orchestrated news stories prior to the attacks.
Thus the need for the “spontaneous” lie that the terrorist are picking up on the news and planning attacks around the news instead of the news being orchestrated for the attacks.
I know Iran's rebels are in Benghazi as well, but your post has really made me think about what is at stake for Obama and Clinton with their cover up. Thanks.

Exactly. When will we hear from more Benghazi whistleblowers? Is Issa getting distracted or is he working with deposing these people first. I wish there was a next step announced or some update.

W had to wake up Pete Hoekstra and a rat woman on the armed services? committee in ‘07 when Israel sacked Syria’s nuke plant.. it’s the law if it looks like the US might have to get involved.
There were probably 20 calls the night of Benghazi asking for cross-border-authority... can the NSA tell us if those phones were ever picked up or just turned off and unplugged.

I called my congressman’s office last Thursday (yes, I used my Verizon cellphone). As I enumerated my concerns regarding the Won, the aide interjected, stating that there is NOT just one SSN (Harrison Bounel) with the Won, but SEVEN!
