Obama: No Teleprompter, No Clue (Video)
GOP USA ^ | June 7, 2013 | Bobby Eberle

Posted on 06/08/2013 6:17:11 AM PDT by IbJensen

What always amazes me is hearing comments from people who say that Barack Obama can really "give a good speech." It's clear that they like his style when he has his teleprompter handy or his scripted speech memorized. But a really good speech can be given off-the-cuff, and Obama just can't do it.

Just look at what happened Friday when Obama was supposed to give a speech on Obamacare, but he didn't have a teleprompter, and his speech was not sitting at the podium. Hello! The subject is something he knows well, but he couldn't muster anything except umms and errs.

I think the most annoying is his several references to "People!" as if his servants were letting him down. One would expect a little more class from the president of the United States.

Perhaps he's already feeling the heat from all the scandals that are boiling over. All I can say is that since the New York Times came out and said Barack Obama has lost all credibility, I'm sure there will be a lot more umms and errs coming from his mouth.

They wern't gullible (the intelligentsia at least, the voters certainly are-his re-election proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt). They know he's not especially smart, but they would be banned from the tribe if they even thought as much. You know that the Left truly does believe in the concept of thought crime. See Jason Richwine, for the most recent example. Also, Harvard students, of all people, calling for a ban on funding of the research of the type he did, merely because they're afraid of what the conclusions might show.

He was passed, like a “crowd surfer” at a concert, from arm to arm over the heads of the crowd, to get every position he’s ever had.

I can imagine that given the Broomhilda he’s wedded to he probably practices what the juveniles do quite often.

He and the certifiably nutty Biden share that same unconsciousness when it comes to identifying supporters.

Dear Lord, please deliver this misguided nation from the evils of this regime. Restore our country to the condition it was in in 1911.

Amen.

God Bless George Washington, Calvin Cooledge, Ronald Reagan and Sarah Palin.

Obama speaks in an annoying clipped monotone that drives me up the wall. His whole delivery is much like a fourth-grader reading a book report or describing a class trip. “We went to the zoo. I saw all the animals in the zoo. I saw a giraffe. then we went home. The End’’.

Sooooo true, and soooooo accurate. Freegards!

Does anyone have the cartoon/gif of Obama with his teleprompter in the men’s room from a couple of years ago? I can’t seem to find it. It was a classic!

For the first time, the teleprompter had exactly as much in it’s brain, as Obama had in his.

In a shocking revelation, it was revealed today that the President has a prosthetic leg, more like a tripod, to keep him on point, and prevent him from falling on his ass in front of a national audience. The third leg, relied on for support, is a state of the art Teleprompter, and it is said he “won’t leave home without it”, and even takes it to the men’s room for “Presidential Business.”

Apparently, the Teleprompter isn’t just to help keep Obama’s Zombies mesmerized, but apparently he uses it ,like others use Viagra, in the marital bedroom as a “Sex Aid”.

A Geek Technician, formerly employed by the failed Circuit City chain, revealed today he installed a unique program in the bedroom version of the Teleprompter for “those special moments” when the President and his earthy wife try to rekindle their early marital sparks, hosting kinky “date nights.”

Remember Sarah Palin's big speech after McCain announced her as his VP candidate?

Her teleprompter malfunctioned, and she gave a world-class speech flawlessly on the fly.

The speech was so successful that McCain rocketed ahead of Obama in the polls until the financial panic of Sept. 18, 2008, when someone (possibly Soros) tried to crash the economy by withdrawing $550 billion from money market funds within 1 or 2 hours?

Sidenote: This pivotal historical event has gone without serious investigation and is barely mentioned in the most relevant Wikipedia article (Global financial crisis in September 2008) as follows: "By the morning of September 18, money market sell orders from institutional investors totalled $0.5 trillion, out of a total market capitalization of $4 trillion, but a $105 billion liquidity injection from the Federal Reserve averted an immediate collapse."

Yes, I do remember that. I truly believe that Sarah Palin is a genuinely good, intelligent and thoughtful human being. She far outshines 99% of those who are considered members of the political class.

Obama probably relies on prepared speeches in order to make sure that a given crowd gets the right propaganda.

Thanks and back at ya! I used to be a drummer and a singer years ago, no great shakes but I always kept the beat and could always carry a tune. Had lots of guitarists tell me they tuned to my voice. And so it was when I first heard Obama speak it was like the biggest set of nails across the worlds biggest blackboard, I can’t listen to the guy. I’m opposed to everything he stands for, I hate his guts(and I don’t care what color he is) and that monotone voice drives me to distraction.

I hear ya - interesting that you come at it (at least partially) from the standpoint of music and drumming. I literally cannot stomach the sound of his voice or the sight of him on TV. I have to change the channel or put my fingers in my ear or somesuch. I read something on NLP - neurolinguistic programming a while back. I think there is something to that angle as well - sort of a hypnotic “Looook into my eyeessss” sort of thing that seems to work on his followers. Lots of different but in the end complementary ways of saying what is essentially the same thing.

My dear Swordmaker ...

It would appear that your “logic” goes roughly something like this:

1. Apple is wonderful.
2. If anyone disagrees then they don’t know because they’ve not used Apple products.
3. Because if they had used Apple products they would not be disagreeing.
4. Because - Go to #1.

My late mother was an alto-soprano singer with a women’s choral group a long time ago, the were called ‘’The Choraliers’’(sp?). Guess you could say they were semi-professional. They sang for the opening of Expo 67 in Toronto, Canada. Guess that’s where I got the ‘’pipes’’ from.I haven’t done anything musical in years but anytime I hear something out of tune or tempo, even though I’m not listening for it, it drives me nuts! If it’s something I can’t turn off or tell to stop,or set right , I have to leave the room, I get irritated or I get a headache. Obama does that do me, or did since I will not and do not even look at him on tv. If my wife is watching the news and he comes on I leave the room. Hillary Clinton has the same effect on me as well. maybe I should get back to the drums(and get my revenge!) or go sing karaoke somewhere.
