CAPITOL POLICE SUDDENLY WANTS TO SEE TEA PARTY WEBSITES BEFORE PROTEST APPROVED.
And they are taking weeks to grant the request.
The Tea Party Patriots were planning a rally in Washington DC on Wednesday June 19th.
But they ran into a wall.
The Capitol Police want to see their websites first.
Kevin Mooneyhan from the Tea Party Patriots described this latest assault on the Tea Party:
Below is the timeline of events surrounding our June 19th rally at the Capitol. We haven’t done anything to publicize this event yet because we wanted to make sure we had the permit in hand. You know, follow the rules, do the right thing, etc.
Event Date: June 19, 2013 Permit Submitted: 5/22/2013 via fax
Officer Brown contacted me on 5/23 to ask me 2 questions If we would have a banner and if so what the dimensions would be and how we would hang it.
If we were going to have buses and to make sure that we coordinated with Union Station since the Capitol couldn’t accommodate buses.
The impression that I got was that it would likely be approved in a few days. She told me, “Hopefully the next time you hear from me, it will be to let you know that the permit is approved.”
The following Tuesday, 5/28/13 I reached out to Officer Brown for an update....

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that was pretty standard. I mean, when you are marching in the country’s capital, they do a background check to make sure that you haven’t been threatening the life of the President, or some JIhadist stuff about overthrowing America.
If your Facebook page contains nothing but posts about watching the country burn, your chances of getting a permit granted is pretty low.
Don't worry; they're trying to fix that pesky employment epidemic... just look at how much they've eradicated so far!
Have the rally regardless. Sing We Shall Overcome and the Freedom Riders’ Anthem if the cops try to disperse it. Bring your own cameras, in case the MSM blacks it out.

I was there as well. It was one of the most uplifting ANYTHING I can remember in my entire life!
I was so happy I went. My sister hummed and hawed about going and decided not to.
After I came back, she attended the next 2 with me.

Great idea. Although conservatives don’t believe lumping people into groups according to race, etc. (well at least some conservatives not pandering to a “hispanic” vote) maybe Lloyd and a few other fine black conservatives should form a group and apply for a permit. If I was black I would take advantage of anything I could to point out liberal fallacies while maintaining my dignity.

I expect that this is a delaying tactic. Approve the permit twelve hours ahead of time, and say “no one showed up”
But if you do show up with out papers, they will call out the goons.
