CAPITOL POLICE SUDDENLY WANTS TO SEE TEA PARTY WEBSITES BEFORE PROTEST APPROVED.
And they are taking weeks to grant the request.
The Tea Party Patriots were planning a rally in Washington DC on Wednesday June 19th.
But they ran into a wall.
The Capitol Police want to see their websites first.
Kevin Mooneyhan from the Tea Party Patriots described this latest assault on the Tea Party:
Below is the timeline of events surrounding our June 19th rally at the Capitol. We havent done anything to publicize this event yet because we wanted to make sure we had the permit in hand. You know, follow the rules, do the right thing, etc.
Event Date: June 19, 2013 Permit Submitted: 5/22/2013 via fax
Officer Brown contacted me on 5/23 to ask me 2 questions If we would have a banner and if so what the dimensions would be and how we would hang it.
If we were going to have buses and to make sure that we coordinated with Union Station since the Capitol couldnt accommodate buses.
The impression that I got was that it would likely be approved in a few days. She told me, Hopefully the next time you hear from me, it will be to let you know that the permit is approved.
The following Tuesday, 5/28/13 I reached out to Officer Brown for an update....

Actually the rule was (I know because I stood in the freezing rain for over two hours waiting)they can not even begin the Inaugural Parade until after the past president has left the city.
Cyber Liberty ~:” ... Its just another brush stroke on the painting. “
Either that or
just .. “a few bumps in the road “ .
Patrick Henry would know what to do .. !
Makes me want to do more for the Tea Party movement.
Until IMPEACHMENT is discussed in the House seriously, noting is going to change for the next 3-1/2 years.
Well come onnnn, it’s not like the Tea party are like the Occupy Wall street terrorists who smash up small businesses and crap on cop cars. You have to be like them if you want to protest and not only that but also have the added bonus of camping out for months on end stinking up the streets, doing illegal drugs and raping women.
I didn’t see where they asked for websites (which, if your site has good SEO, they’ll be able to find without your help). They asked whether your group used Instagram or Twitter - perhaps because it could asseme a flash mob? I don’t know, as long as they ask the same of every group to anticipate security concerns, is that so bad?
>> I dont understand...
Democrat. Union.
Screw it.
Put out the word to go to the district of corruption on date and time specified.
Make them stop us.
Can we help it if everybody had the same idea at the same time?
Until IMPEACHMENT is discussed in the House seriously, noting is going to change for the next 3-1/2 years.
Oh no, it will get worse.
Do it anyway! Screw them.
Actually the Capitol Hill Police are under the jurisdiction of the Senate. So this would be dingy harry’s handiwork — not barky’s.
Grab your 0bama-loving neighbors by the shoulders and shake them.. Wake them up. We are now under an insurgent Chicago Marxist regime and the recent scandals are clear evidence of this.
Has 0bama fired Eric Holder yet? 0bama is willfully trying America's patience.
“What website?”
Just being sarcastic Gene Eric. The Tea Party left D.C. literally cleaner than it was before they visited the first time. At least the terrain was cleaner...D.C. itself was still filthy inside and out. Somebody needs to tell Trey Gowdy that the Tea Party is being stonewalled in D.C.
This is what it looks like. When your Government turns on you. Its an amazing, and dark, time to be alive in the USA. If you sat out the last election... Youre just so awesome and principled. /puke
I wish I could laugh at those on this forum who did just that, and say an "I told you so", but they're too busy being "pure" to understand what they've done......unfortunately this is not funny, not funny at all.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Just do the rally anyways.
