Transgendered people in several states have been fighting for the right to use public restrooms that correspond with whatever sex they consider themselves, with lawmakers in California and Massachusetts providing support for the idea. But David Staton, whose wife had the disquieting run-in while eating out at Amerigo, a restaurant in the country music capital, has a simple solution.

I never said a word to my drafting teacher or acted any differently from him. I will say this though, I got an A....
Oh, and ask the folks running the restaurant to ‘show their pride’ and put a sign in the window explaining restroom rules. It'll be a warning to many - and an invitation to a few... They'll lost the 50% of Americans who are conservative and a fair amount of democrat women - who while agreeing in principle - might not want to share a bathroom with a man.
If they're concerned about how this might work, they can check with liberal newspapers who chose to dump the 50% of Americans who are conservatives - or JC Penny - a group that feels selling 'things' isn't enough for their grandiosity. They wanted to be cultural pundits... for only one side.
It's a free country - they can do what they want - we can do what we want...
That hits home.
Here’s the restaurant http://www.amerigo.net/ looks like a place I would have visited. Not now.
I just posted this article on my Facebook page. I’m now being told that “ closemindedness is striking again”
Hogrefe [the restaurant owner] said the restaurant manager made every attempt to accommodate her. By telling HER to go the men's room, NOT by kicking the perv out of the ladies room! IOW, it was HER problem! I personally tried to reach out to the woman who was upset on Sunday but have not received a response, he said. We are sorry that she and her husband were uncomfortable in our restaurant and hope she will be in contact with us soon.
They were not "uncomfortable" you imbecilic coward! They were appalled at your restaurant's inability to see that a pervert was allowed to roam at will. And that your response to it was that, on some level, it was this woman's fault!
My loathing of the Left grows exponetially by the day, it seems. Deadly, sickening loathing.
Have you ever been up close and personal with an angry gay man dressed as Dorothy Gale? Or menaced by a drag queen on a bus in Greenwich Village? Until you’ve experienced it, don’t pretend to tolerate their way of dressing...
Happened to me in San Francisco on Halloween. Should really have known better than to go to any public place. Anyway, scary experience. But funny too.
If these guys can’t figure out whether they’re women or men, how are we to know...well, I guess the princess in the spangled fuchsia lace gown with a two-day stubble is sorta kinda giveaway.
But NO WAY I’m going to the Men’s.
lmao
I don’t condone anyone menacing others. Look, this lifestyle is as foreign to me as it is to anyone. I find it objectionable. What are you going to do about it?
Perhaps you have a good idea how to stop it. I don’t.
Funny. Did we go to the same school?
True story. We were in Fla and we met our son & his family at a state park. It was a 2 hour ride and when we got there I really had to go. So I race into the restroom, while I was doing my business somebody went into the stall next to me. They exclaimed rather loudly, “I your gonna use the ladies room at least shut the door all the way.” Luckily it was my wife. I scurried out of their red faced only to find my son & DIL laughing their butts off.
Well, one way to solve it - personally - is to move where you live so I don’t have to put up with drug-addled, crazed drag queens. These people are not sane - it’s not about choice.
Well, it’s true I don’t run into people like this. The truth is though, I could. Our society has gone down hill in my opinion. It’s utterly disgusting what passes for acceptable attire these days.
There are areas in my region that cater to this crowd. I stay away from those areas. I do my best to avoid this scene.
Others are saying it more and more, and I have to agree. We seem to be living in the ‘end days’/’end times’.
I have grave concerns for what will be taught to our children in the near future. It’s already bad enough, and it seems to be headed in areas that are even worse.
The solution, if not already posted, is for normal people to stop patronizing any business that panders to people who are sick degenerates.
I never thought about “end times” until today. Of course, most generations think they are living in end times (especially when they get over 50!)and yet the world goes on. But we are certainly due for a correction. No society can exist for long that encourages this type of behavior.
