Being Treated Like Absolute Trash Under The Obama Administration

By Michael Snyder
May 30th, 2013

Why does the Obama administration treat our military veterans like human garbage? Every year on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, Barack Obama and our other politicians make very nice speeches, but the truth about how they feel about our veterans can be seen in how they are treated every single day. In the United States today, there are well over half a million veterans that have been waiting for at least 125 days to have their benefit claims processed. Many of them will ultimately have their claims sent back or denied just so a government employee somewhere can get a bigger bonus. Meanwhile, conditions at VA facilities all over the country are absolutely abysmal, and many veterans have to wait more than half a year just to get an appointment at one of those facilities.
Once you start looking into how this country really treats military veterans, it becomes easier to understand why 22 military veterans commit suicide in America every single day. Our vets have a higher rate of unemployment, a higher rate of poverty, a higher rate of homelessness, a higher rate of depression and a higher rate of divorce then the general population. It is a crying shame. One of the ways that any society is judged is by how it treats military veterans, and the truth is that America has failed miserably. This has been particularly true since Barack Obama has been in the White House.

The following are 25 signs that military veterans are being treated like absolute trash under the Obama administration…

1. The average claim for veteran benefits takes more than half a year to be processed.

2. The Department of Veterans Affairs

They hate the military because they hate freedom and America.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil

Romans 1:28
just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind

Even apart from what vets are experiencing one must ask...just how much clearer can Osama Obama make his utter and complete contempt for the United States Armed Forces? I mean...perverts holding "Armed Forces Pride Day" in the White House? Women in actually infantry roles? "I killed Bin Laden" instead of "the Navy killed Bin Laden".And let's not forget "corpsemen".

Sadly, vets would be wise...and realistic...to assume that they'll be treated like trash under Osama Obama.

Howz’ about using the Marines to hold umbrellas, a clear violation of their dress code.

And, howz’ about refusing to salute them when getting on Air Force One.

The Obambibastards hate the military as do all moose-slims since they represent the enemy . . .

We are NOT treating our vets as they should be

But to be fair to the VA Much of the problem is VA care is open to anyone who ever served, even those who served 3 years or less and never left stateside.

The VA used to be for the purpose of treating people who served in combat and perhaps who served 20 years and lived near a NA facility
Clinton changed all that when he opened it to anyone who ever serve BUT did not increase the budget.

here is one example
I was in the waiting room when a coupe, came in and started complaining about the care. Their 26 y o son, who served 2.5 years in the navy in san diego was getting his leg repaired that he hurt skiing in Wash state.
They complained about the care he received at the Seattle facility so they flew him home to this facility
and then complained because he had to wait a month for the surgery and IIRC correctly the operation was costing them a couple of hundred.
They even said they thought of taking him to a private Dr
well why didn’t they?
In the meantime he was taking operating and rehab time from a combat vet with a severed leg
THIS is wrong

Could it have something to do with: "I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

26. 0bama’s cancellation of fleet week, air shows, or any other public performances given by our military. ‘Sequester’ is the excuse given by 0bama, although entitlement programs for illegal aliens remain intact.

This is a national disgrace. Heartbreaking. Why we are not helping the veterans is beyond inexcusable. TV just rolls on and so does most of these politicians who to me will not touch an issue that may bring them into a bit of controversy (which this issue should be none to have a fear of losing rating points in polls). Obama seems (comes across as such) to want the military to suffer in every way possible. A liberal and this one being a radical liberal should never be anyway near having this control over our military. Dems are wag the dog professionals. They use the military to in place their agenda. That’s what they see it for. It’s such a double standard with this left wing media and their government.

Marines don't require any civilian to salute them, whether he's the CiC or not.
In fact, as a former Marine, every time I do see Øbama salute, I want to puke.

When veterans are in uniform, they are heroes. When they are not, they are costs. A time ago Walter Reed had problems.

And then you have people like Hubby who served in Vietnam and never ever used the VA for anything. He has had private insurance since he got out.

RE: Much of the problem is VA care is open to anyone who ever served

Negatory. I retired in 2003. Military retirees are not eligible to use the VA unless they have a service related condition that is documented prior to retirement.

This stuff has gone on under more than just 0’s administration. I remember being in disbelief when the day the US went into Iraq it was announced benefits for veterans of WWII were to have a reduction in benefits they were promised.

ah
yes You if you are in fact a retired veteran can use the VA system
I think you are wrong there.
check out the VA site
http://www.va.gov/health/default.asp

it clearly states that of course a retired military vet can use the VA
and the retired vets should be able to use it

it is people who served once and who are in most cases working elsewhere who are overloading a system not designed for that many people
PLUS are making it hard for the combat vets who still need care

Bless him for his service
and I am glad he doesn’t have severe health issues

we don’t deserve people like him who go serve their country and never ask for anything in return

Nope. Was briefed during out-processing and had to sign acknowledgment. But military retirees have TRICARE for life, which has nothing to do with the VA.
