A Chechen man who was fatally shot by an FBI agent last week during an interview about one of the Boston bombing suspects was unarmed, law enforcement officials said Wednesday.
An air of mystery has surrounded the FBI shooting of Ibragim Todashev, 27, since it occurred in Todashevs apartment early on the morning of May 22. The FBI said in a news release that day that Todashev, a former Boston resident who knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed during an interview with several law enforcement officers.
The FBI has provided few other details, saying that the matter is being investigated by an FBI review team that may not finish its probe for several months.
The FBI takes very seriously any shooting incidents involving our agents and as such we have an effective, time-tested process for addressing them internally, FBI spokesman Paul Bresson said in a statement Wednesday. The review process is thorough and objective and conducted as expeditiously as possible under the circumstances.

Isn’t he the wrong-place-wrong-time guy? The one that lay face down in the street for a bit and then they stripped him to put him in the cruiser? Then they get him off somewhere then the news says no, he’s no involved he’s just wpwt fella?
It is.
“And unless I missed it, we never heard another peep about the saudi kid, did we?”
Nope. Amd we never will.

You should care.
Remember, muzzies shave for their final jihad.
Where is that other thread on conspiracy theories. There is so much mystery around the entire handling of the boston bombing, right down to the 2 FBI agents who were investigating the bombing, and who just recently died in the helicopter “training accident” while repelling.
This thing is starting to stink to high heaven, but we will never know the truth behind it.
When government hides the truth then denies it is hiding anything people are left to fill the void with speculation.

RENAULT: By the way, Monsieur, last night you evinced an interest in Signor Ugarte.
LASZLO: Yes.
RENAULT: I believe you have a message for him?
LASZLO: Nothing important, but may I speak to him now?
STRASSER: You would find the conversation a trifle one-sided. Signor Ugarte is dead.
RENAULT: I am making out the report now. We haven't quite decided whether he committed suicide or died trying to escape.
Interesting stuff. All the sources of intel involving 5th column government ops result in the source being offed.
Jack Ruby offing Lee Oswald comes to mind. Here we have an FBI agent offing an interviewee who has terror ties to Chechnya.Did he grab for the agents gun. Is there a cadre
of Muslim FBI agents who have an autocratic mandate from President Obama to act to protect the “presidents” policy on terror ( i.e there is none.)?
The suspect knew something that likely Obama had not wanted revealed in public, and the interviewee was NOT cooperating.
Bang-bang. Yer dead?
Well, somebody’s lying here since the FBI first said that he attacked and agent with a knife.
Really? This is insane. I don't give a crap about the terrorist, but the only way a probe will take several months is if people are lying and the truth is near impossible to find. If no one is lying or hiding something it is a 5 minute conversation.
My suspicion is that it was primarily careless police work on the part of the FBI. The Chechen was an MMA specialist, and why the FBI agent should have been in the room alone with him (a non-secure room in the man’s own apt.) is a little puzzling. There were two Massachusetts police officers there, but they were in another room; possibly they were watching or holding someone else in the apartment? In any case, it could simply have been poor procedure that led to the shooting.
However, the whole thing is mystifying. Was this an official FBI expedition, or was it one agent on his own? The MA police officers were there because of the murder investigation, but supposedly the FBI agent was trying to get a statement declaring that the Chechen had been involved only in the murders but was not involved in the terrorist attack. This would have been helpful to Obama’s claim that this had nothing to do with outside agents, so I can’t see them intentionally killing the Chechen before he signed the statement. Unless, of course, he was refusing to sign?
But as with all these things, I guess we’ll never know. The standard technique now is to launch an “investigation” that is secret, locks all records, and goes on for so long that the public forgets the incident.

Police probe possible link between Marathon bomber and unsolved triple homicide in Waltham
04/22/2013 4:58 PM
By Michael Rezendes, Globe Staff
SNIPPET: Previously, investigators had said that Brendan Mess, 25, along with Erik Weissman, 25, and Raphael Teken, 37, were killed on Sept. 12, 2011, in Messs apartment on Harding Street, a quiet residential street in Waltham. They also said they believed drugs were involved.
But the relative interviewed by the Globe said the murders took place the evening before, on Sept. 11, the 10th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The relative said he knew this because he was texting one of the victims about a Sunday night football game between the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys when communication with the victims suddenly stopped at about 8:15 that evening.
The three of them were definitely killed on Sept. 11, the relative said. They all stopped using their cellphones at about eight oclock that night.

Wednesday, May 22, 2013
by: ORyan Johnson, Laurel J. Sweet
SNIPPET: Ibragim Todashev the Russian shot dead overnight by the FBI while being questioned in connection with the marathon bombing and a Waltham triple murder was arrested by Boston police in 2010 after a road rage incident in Downtown Crossing, and by Florida police just weeks ago after a violent parking lot assault.
The FBI and law enforcement sources say Todashev, 27, a former Cambridge resident, was being questioned by agents and Massachusetts state troopers when he attacked an agent with a knife and was shot dead.

Give him a medal!
It appears from the story that the agent ended up with “...cuts and abrasions....” after he and the suspect were left in the room alone for a minute when other LEOs stepped out. Suspect saw the ONLY opportunity he would ever have after that for a one-on-one chance to kill an LEO and went for the agent. He was a martial arts fighter and probably a pretty good one and the FBI agent was getting his butt kicked (cuts and abrasions), was in danger of losing his weapon and had no other choice but to Trayvon the guy. End of story.
lost intel opp. my butt; they guy was killed on purpose to shut him up.
