The Illinois Ag Dept. illegally seized privately owned bees from renowned naturalist, Terrence Ingram, without providing him with a search warrant and before the court hearing on the matter, reports Prairie Advocate News.
Behind the obvious violations of his Constitutional rights is Monsanto. Ingram was researching Roundups effects on bees, which hes raised for 58 years. They ruined 15 years of my research, he told Prairie Advocate, by stealing most of hisstock.

I like how knowledge of the issue mean you have to work for Monsanto.
I'm always surprised when conservatives fall for the liberal line. There's only one explanation, science is hard.

Your point is wholly mistaken. Nobody saves corn to use as seed. Virtually all corn (certainly all corn in which Monsanto would have any interest) is hybrid and hybrid corn doesn't reproduce according to type.
It may be that your source is confusing corn and soybeans (which are self pollinating). But, it's kinda hard to carry on a serious colloquy about an information source that doesn't know the difference between corn and soybeans.
To: Toddsterpatriot
Yeah, why is it the people who know the least about a particular subject are always the first to offer their opinion as fact? Conservatives buying into liberal nonsense, to your point, is absolutely caused by a lack of knowledge. In this case, science is hard and (willful) ignorance is way too easy.

So you know the cause of the bee colony collapse so much better than the US Dept of Ag or the EU?
*******************************************************************
Let’s see—who should I disbelieve first, the Ag Department & the EU (major proselytizers/promoters of the cult/hoax of Anthropogenic Global Warming) or any random FReeper poster. Sorry, I'd choose to disbelieve the EU and Ag Dept.

You think farmers choose Monsanto seeds because they don't deliver a better yield, a more consistent product, and a product that consumers demand? It's also no wonder you're an anti-capitalist. You don't know the first thing about how markets work. Now I understand why you rant mindlessly about markets. People fear things they don't understand. The dollar vote has validated Monsanto products. Only an idiot would deny that fact..
A conservative who questions this issue regarding Monsanto (and others) is anti-capitalist? You present yourself so cock-sure (and with similar language) about this subject that I'm reminded of the FReepers who set upon all Sandy Hook questioners with the same disrespect. Perhaps you are correct. Perhaps you are way wrong.
To: Resettozero
A conservative who questions this issue regarding Monsanto (and others) is anti-capitalist? Don't you wish it was that easy? Any alleged conservatives joining the witch hunt against Monsanto are aligning themselves with the occupy movement, anti-science Luddites, European socialists, and other assorted and sundry know-nothings who don't understand markets. So, yeah, there is a solid argument that can be made for them being anti-capitalists. Res ipsa loquitur.
I'm reminded of the FReepers who set upon all Sandy Hook questioners with the same disrespect.
Huh? I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about and see no correlation between the very real tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary, and the mindless trashing of a great company that provides products and services that free people freely choose to use in great numbers.
Perhaps you are way wrong.
LOL. Right. This is exactly the problem. You occupy Monsanto types just can't seem to comprehend the fact that Monsanto is wildly successful because they make products their customers want, and by doing so, they kick the ass of their competition. Wow, an American company that dominates their industry by giving people what they want. Amazing, huh? No wonder the anti-capitalists gnash their teeth and accuse the company of things that cannot be supported by facts. Success must be destroyed.
Face it, the dollar vote validates everything that Monsanto is doing. You may not like that fact, but it is a fact. Maybe, like your buddies, you have a problem with markets choosing winners and losers. Do you labor under the delusion that companies should not be able to protect their property, and that they should not be protected from frivolous lawsuits by well funded anti-capitalists? Do you support the rule of law? Are you a member of CSPI?

You occupy Monsanto types...
Thanks for your retort. I'm tuning out now. R2z
To: Resettozero
No problem. Let me know if you ever come across any facts that support your fear/demonization/dislike of Monsanto. There's no reason to be uninformed with so much information available.

Will do.
But your premise is all wrong. Keep spouting off, though. Perhaps your incorrect premise will somehow become correct through intimidation, accusation and insults. Strange things have happened on FR before.

OK, what’s his incorrect premise?

Do you know who David Fenton is? Do you know what Fenton Communications is?
David Fenton was a member of the Weather Underground. His firm is a company that has manufactured crisis and scares against all sorts of American industries on behalf of nutjob groups like the Sierra Club, and on behalf of liberal loon companies like Ben & Jerries ice Cream. They created the Alar Apple scare to damage the Washington Apple growers, the Pink Slime Scare which cost lots of people desperately needed jobs, the hormones in milk scare to benefit Ben & Jerry, and guess what? They also are involved in the current bull crap about Monsanto and bees.
If you haven't heard of this company and you're mouthing off about GMO crops you've got some reading to do.

Gee, I wonder why FReepers are showing the same kind of intolerance for this topic and the Sandy Hook conspiracy threads? What could be the common denominator? Maybe because they’re both tinfoil hat material?
To: Mr. Lucky; Resettozero
Looks like Resettozero has no response. He must be allergic to facts. I'll bet that's why he ran away.
