One of the stupidest things President You Didn't Build That has ever done was squander a huge portion of his political capital on leftist extremist so-called "gun control." The "gun control" laws being hotly debated are nothing but an expression of hatred for:
• The Second Amendment.
• All of us who believe "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" means exactly what it says.
Expressing hatred does, indeed, fire up the Democratic [sic] party's base; concurrently, it has driven sales of firearms and ammunition to levels that couldn't even be imagined five years ago, and solidified resistance to YDBT, the Democratic [sic] party, and Marxism in general. NRA membership has topped 5 million. Millions of Americans now have concealed carry permits. There's no such thing as ammunition on gun shop shelves in many parts of the country, and modern sporting semi-automatic rifles are on back-order from coast to coast. Even Illinois, the last bastion of hatred of the idea that citizens have an intrinsic human right to defend our lives, is under federal court order to stop infringing the Second Amendment.
I don't doubt representatives of the Democratic [sic] party in the Senate will launch another attempt to pass "gun control" laws; I also don't doubt they'll go exactly nowhere in the House of Representatives, and drive more gun and ammunition sales, NRA membership, and additional resistance to leftist extremist hatred.

What does this have to do with preventing maniacs from committing atrocities? They are targeting law abiding citizens for further infringement. The NRA and other pro second amendment groups must inform people in regions where they have been brainwashed by gun confiscation leftists.

The primary reason for the Second Amendment is to safeguard against a tyrannical government. The second most important reason is defense of country, community, family and self. The trouble with that gumdrops and rainbows view of the problem is that that 100k Ruger LCP9s will legally be able to be used only once, if the brainless in government and in the no-information populace have their way.
It’s possible to fight nonsense with actual facts.
We don’t have to convince skeptics that we’re all safer when law-abiding citizens are armed. All we have to do is recite the fact that gun crimes have gone down over the past decade while both concealed carry permits and overall gun ownership have gone up significantly. The facts refute the fears. Let them draw their own conclusions from the facts, but willingly supply the facts at every opportunity.
From such facts, it is easy to draw the conclusion that gun-free zones (like our schools) are a bad idea. A better policy would be to pay a cash stipend to any teacher or administrator in a building who agreed to carry and who met all of the school’s requirements for doing so. Allocate X thousand dollars per building and let those who agree to carry split it equally. If only one person is wlling, he or she will get the entire stipend that year. You’ll get takers.
Perception matters more than facts.
That is why the GOP is failing.
You need to control the narrative to win. The GOP doesn’t have a clue on what to do.
