It’s possible to fight nonsense with actual facts.

We don’t have to convince skeptics that we’re all safer when law-abiding citizens are armed. All we have to do is recite the fact that gun crimes have gone down over the past decade while both concealed carry permits and overall gun ownership have gone up significantly. The facts refute the fears. Let them draw their own conclusions from the facts, but willingly supply the facts at every opportunity.

From such facts, it is easy to draw the conclusion that gun-free zones (like our schools) are a bad idea. A better policy would be to pay a cash stipend to any teacher or administrator in a building who agreed to carry and who met all of the school’s requirements for doing so. Allocate X thousand dollars per building and let those who agree to carry split it equally. If only one person is wlling, he or she will get the entire stipend that year. You’ll get takers.

Perception matters more than facts.

That is why the GOP is failing.

You need to control the narrative to win. The GOP doesn’t have a clue on what to do.

An interesting correlation concerns active and effective mosquito control programs. Where they take place states have turned over from restricting all firearms and have replaced 'may issue' with 'shall issue' where they've kept concealed weapon permitting in place.

The states where environmental extremists, or certain agricultural interests, have held sway have been late to sign on to loosening firearms controls. Those states are California, New York, MA, RI, CT, NH, NJ, MD, DE ~ the environmentalist concern is focused on the plight of male mosquitos. They don't bite people or transfer disease like the females, but they instead are vegetarians who help serve to polinate wild grasses, herbs, trees, etc. AND, they serve as a food reservoir for marshlands and brackish tidewaters where many oceangoing critters breed and spawn.

Interestingly enough, CO has only 100 people actively involved in mosquito eradication programs ~ they're into the 'mosquitos feed fish' syndrome!

CO also has a full bore leftwingtard government array ~ they are doomed.

Now, what is the cause ~ is there a mosquito born disease that turns normal humans into leftwingtards?
