Washington Post reporters Karen DeYoung and Scott Wilson (prompted, undoubtedly, by Team Obama) find that David Petraeus is to blame for the trouble in which the administration finds itself over the Benghazi talking points. Its not exactly a case of blame the dead guy more like blame the unfaithful guy, even if he is an American hero. In the Posts telling, Petraeus drafted talking points that exceeded the scope of what the House Intelligence Committee asked for. Thus, the talking points had to be changed, and that led to Benghazigate. Team Obamas defense has thus come full circle.

Talking point is a rabbit trail. Who issued the stand down order?

That’s odd, because I’ve been hearing that Petreaus has been “chatting” with Woodward about “this and that.”

Thats odd, because Ive been hearing that Petreaus has been chatting with Woodward about this and that. I think this is just another attempt to throw some spaghetti against a wall to see what sticks.

...more like blame the unfaithful guy,... More like, blame the guy not lying. Even if, because, his mouth is not open.

If Petraeus doesn’t come clean at the hearings, he deserves everything that happens to him. He screwed up by having an affair (honey trap?). Then he’s blackmailed to keep his silence. Then after the election, he’s thrown under the bus.

Petreaus needs to step forward soon and answer his call. It looks like it will be his last chance.

Gen Petraeus DID NOT prevent the Impostor from issuing cross border authority.
To: rawcatslyentist
Of course it was. We need a Special Prosecutor and a Grand Jury to prove that.

Washington Post Blames Benghazigate on PetraeusIn a way, I'm glad the Washington Post did this. Maybe it will prompt Petraeus to come forward, name names, and set the record straight as to who did what, and when.

Hey, c'mon, Cowboy Bob! What do you want: strategic intelligence, or political correctness?
