Car owners whose auto was torched during immigrant rioting arent getting sympathy from local officials Theyre getting tickets. The police chose to wait and not to intervene when the gangs burned cars. But those car owners who could not move their burnt-out wrecks, however, were fined.
Rioting continued for the sixth straight night last night.

“We need to blame SOMEONE, preferably someone with $$$!”
Michael Bloomberg and Rahm Emmanuel are taking notes.
What aholes.
Pass it on.
Socialism success story. They breed the environment and then bill ya for cleanup when policies blow back.
SOMEONE has to pay their salaries for doing nothing.
Also worthy of notice is the concluding comment by the Rooters Reporter, Fredrik Sandberg:
“Riots . . . with their roots in segregation, neglect and poverty.”
Oh, those poor, neglected rioters.
Having been around Europe....I can imagine the scene. The police chief (a career guy, not a political figure), gets yanked into the mayor’s office and there are demands. In this case...the mayor wants the streets cleaned off and no evidence of something having occurred.
It’s best to say that the police chief told his guys to identify the burnt cars, and give them a warning notice (probably three days), to move it or it would be moved. Nothing will be moved until Monday at the earliest....trust me....tow truck drivers are few and far in between, and few would work on weekends unless you paid extra.
But the next question would be interesting. Will insurance companies quickly step in and pay full on your situation? There’s going to be arguments about this, and I have doubts over how this will all work in the end. And if you only had liability? Older cars....say twelve years old? I doubt if anyone had full insurance....so that guy lost a heck of a lot in the fire.
I’d tell them exactly what they could do with their ticket, and the burned out cars.
ashamed of the Swedes.....sorry that I carry their blood in my veins....
This reminds me of the legal attitudes after Kristallnacht.
At that time, the Nazi government decreed that Jews themselves were to blame for the violence and destruction of Kristallnacht, and imposed a collective fine upon the Jewish people.
And, the Nazis made some legal changes in insurance laws, so that insurance companies were not liable to pay for destruction of Jewish property.
Well, we already see the politically correct crowd wondering what we have done to provoke events such as rioting, and wonder why some Muslims have such hatred towards the west, and wonder what we should do to appease them.
Reminds me of the dutch jews that were fined for not paying their taxes because they were in a nazi concentration camp. Same mindset.
I bet the insurance companies will deny the claims saying the they don’t cover “Acts of Allah”.
You can’t make this up!
Caught in the middle between anarchists and statists.
The Swedish authorities are hallucinating that everything is fine, that there are no riots. Therefore, if there’s a burned out car, it is seen as something that needs to be dealt with. If they deal with what they can deal with, then everything, is normal.
I would hope that the people who live in all the larger cities, not just Chicago and New York, are watching what happens because it may be coming to our country. Suspect that this summer could prove to be very interesting.
Let the city impound them.
