Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is the smartest guy, the biggest thinker in the Republican Party as it looks toward winning the White House in 2016, GOP strategist Karl Rove tells Newsmax TV.
Six months ago, I would have said, No, he's not going to run, Rove tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview. But maybe he is. I certainly hope he keeps a very strong voice.

Oh Puleeeze!!!! Nobody wants Jeb Bush for President. And WHO wanted Romney? Anyone the GOP stands behind will have the most money and support of the media - and voters will AGAIN be suckered in while Jeb's GOP opponent will allowed to be trashed with NO support of all the GOP's ilk.
And for the sake of 'winning' the fearful voter will succumb once again. Voters don't even have the backbone they 'expect' from the politicians.

The RATs have CDS (Clinton Derangement Syndrome)
The Pachyderms (GOP) have BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome)
Liberalism truly IS a mental disorder, and it has infected both parties.

Roves management of Bushs message, or lack thereof, led directly to Obama. No one has said it better than you did. Thanks!
To: Maringa
Exactly. Ask President's Dole, McCain & Romney how well running as a moderate worked out for them.

Sean Vannity is no more a conservative than than Jeb is.
To: N. Theknow
Did you know that GWB commonly called Rove by his nickname: “Turd Blossom?” (Look up the threads in the FR Archives).
BTW, let us assume, for the sake of discussion, that Jeb Bush really IS the “smartest guy, AND the biggest thinker” today in the GOP.
Ponder- - - , ponder - - - , ponder.
Okay! Time is up!
What does Rove’s assertion tell us about the relevant brain-power in the GOP today?

If Jeb is as smart as Rove claims, he will find a way to be useful and powerful in the GOP without running for president.

I have a lot of conservative friends and no one that I know is hoping for another Bush to run. The probably weren't hoping for the second or the first, either.

Jeb Bush 'Smartest Guy, Biggest Thinker' in GOP Translation: Jeb Bush isn't all that smart, and he's the Republican's smallest thinker.

How does Mr. Smart Guy feel about Benghazi, the IRS harassing conservative groups, the Justice Department looking at journalists’ phone records, amnesty for illegal aliens, the growing deficit, raising taxes, etc.?

Even if this is true the simple fact is that the Bush “brand” has been too badly damaged to rehabilitate it.Bush the Elder, apart from “read my lip” was a good...very good...President.Bush the Younger, certainly far from perfect, was just as certainly far better that either of his opponents would have been. But the leftist illuminati have succeeded in Borking W...and his father, for that matter.
