A man being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings who was killed in Florida early Wednesday by the FBI was reportedly going to admit his role in the 2011 Waltham triple homicide, according to news partner WCVB.
Khusen Taramov said he and Ibragim Todashev were being questioned as part of the bombings by the FBI official and law enforcement officers in Orlando.
Taramov said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters, WCVB reports. Taramov said they were interviewed nearly three hours, and at some point, "something went wrong," and Todashev was killed. Sources said Todashev was about to admit his role in a triple homicide that happened in Waltham on Sept. 11, 2011, when he "went crazy."
"There was some sort of aggressive movement that led the FBI agent to believe he was under threat and he opened fire," the law enforcement official told ABC News. It was not clear what role Todashev may have played, but he was "about to sign a statement" admitting to a role with Tsarnaev in the unsolved murders.
The Waltham Police Department, the Middlesex District Attorneys Office and the Boston division of the FBI did not comment on the case. The State Police referred calls to the FBI.
The Middlesex District Attorneys Office is looking into the possible tie between now-dead bombing suspect Tsarnaev and the Sept. 11, 2011, murders of three men inside a home on Harding Avenue.
Tsarnaev had been training with one of the 2011 murder victims in an attempt to transition from boxing into a possible career in the sport of mixed martial arts, according to news partner WCVB. One of the murder victims identified by police, Brendan Mess, 25, of Waltham, was a well-known mixed martial arts fighter.
The three men killed had their throats stabbed and their bodies covered with marijuana, according to police. The grisly murder scene had produced no leads made public to date. Cambridge residents Eric Weissman, 31, and Rapheal Teken, 37, were also killed. Teken graduated from Brookline High School and Brandeis University.
The murders are under investigation by the Waltham Police Department and the State Police Middlesex County CPAC Unit.
The FBI confirmed today that a person was shot and killed in Florida, but would not disclose details about the investigation.
"The agent, along with two Massachusetts State Police troopers and other law enforcement personnel, were interviewing an individual in connection with the Boston Marathon bombing investigation when a violent confrontation was initiated by the individual," the FBI said in a statement.

They must have been shocked when they sprayed 200 bullets into that boat and he came out alive.
Don’t worry. Obummer has said that there are no more terrorists in the US and that the Marathon bombers were working alone. Trust him. He only lies to you if he thinks it’s for your own good.
Shot and killed while in custody and being questioned? Really?
/facepalm
There is absolutely nothing the feds can say that will be believable from this point on.
B-B-But weren’t the Tsarnaev’s just sweet little refugees who came to America for an education and somehow became self-radicalized and did a very naughty, misguided thing all by dem little selfs?/s
Even a trained martial artist with a knife would probably know it wasn’t smart to go up against armed FBI agents...
What is dangerous or inconvenient about this fellow admitting to something, and to whom?
Seriously.
He was in a room with 2 State troopers, FBI and other LEOs and they had to shoot him?
This is brazen.
Yeah...there's a lot of that going around. Apparently, the FBI agent didn't see a dog to shoot. Oh wait! The terrorist was the dog?
This is the new Obama Regime. Shoot first, ask questions later. They did not want this person to be brought in alive.
How did he smuggle a knife into a secure area?
It probably didn't smell very good.
It is a real bitch having to live in a world where the “Obama Narrative” is sacrosanct.
This stinks of cover up.
If the FBI is questioning a suspect, they have so little control, they have to shoot?
Idiots. Incompetents. Or, Conspirators.
Need to preserve the narrative.
Major WTF alert!
This is truly not credible.
The FBI is either truly incompetent or just shooting suspects and witnesses to cover up.
Which is it?

Was it FBI agent Lon Horiuchi? He’s been very good at shooting and killing unarmed individuals. Well, the dead guy won’t be saying anything about prior FBI/Justice Department involvement now.
The FBI is either truly incompetent or just shooting suspects and witnesses to cover up.
Which is it?

Well, “cover up” is all the rage with the Obama regime and the Justice Department now, so I’d go with something being covered up.
Where is Jack Ruby when you need him?
