A Dem is inverting reality again as usual. He wants us to think that this happened in an atmosphere murky guidance and low-level employees having to make their best guesses as to what to do, so we need new laws to Make Sure This Never Happens Again. Of course this incident is a shocking aberration from any possible atmosphere of regulatory competence and history.

NO ONE is talking about criminal charges. The republicans are not trying to get to the truth. I know they will not get the truth, but they could let them know that people WILL go to jail. My opinion why nothing will happen to anyone; the rinos also sent the IRS after teaparty and religious groups to help romney. This hearing is a joke. Elitists win again. We are held by a higher standard than those who govern us. If nothing comes of this and other CRIMES by this administration a third party will grow. I'm not voting republican if they can't do their job and bring people to justice.

To try and absolve the IRS from this behavior is not going to help the rats with implementing Obamacare using the IRS as the enforcing agency.

Getting a little tiresome here. Somebody asks Miller why something happened, he always says, I’d like to refer you to the report — which we all know is only designed to answer “what happens” not “why”.

Miller’s answers are pretty much just circular — Senator asks why certain groups were targeted, Miller says the IG report says because IRS was looking for groups engaging in political activity, and that’s his answer.

Yep, here’s Dem Sherrod Brown, first thing he says is let’s go back 50 years to re-examine the origins of this law, “exclusively” vs “primarily”, “that is the root of this problem I believe”, blah blah, you know there won’t be an actual question about what went wrong here.

I think somebody pulled him off to the side and told him to knock that stuff off. With an attitude like that you’re just making this worse.

What does it matter if the American People have confidence in the IRS.

They are our Gestapo. There isn’t anything we can do about it.

I suspect there are all kinds of outrageous behaviors lurking within the IRS..that we will never know about.

It is indeed incredible that the IG could not identify who in the Cincinnati office made the decision to revert back to the old criteria. As I have said, the IG is part of the cover-up.
