Harvard students, outraged over a doctoral dissertation arguing that Hispanic immigrants lack raw cognitive ability or intelligence, this week urged the university to investigate how the thesis came to be approved and to ban future research on racial superiority.
The students presented 1,200 signatures to president Drew Faust and the dean of the John F. Kennedy School of Government, David Ellwood.
Academic freedom and a reasoned debate are essential to our academic community, the petition said. However, the Harvard Kennedy School cannot ethically stand behind academic work advocating a national policy of exclusion and advancing an agenda of discrimination.

Do away with all academic assessment tests and have open admissions at Harvard.
All they need is a one month field work grant for work in East LA and they will be hawking copies of the Thesis on every street corner in Cambridge.
I may not like the conclusion or the way it’s presented, but the data he collected appears tight.
However, the Harvard Kennedy School cannot ethically stand behind academic work advocating a national policy of exclusion and advancing an agenda of discrimination.
Yet ask these same morons if they approve of affirmative action and racial quotas for government jobs and college entrance and they’re all for it...
All Richwine’s critics have to do is show the statistical evidence that proves Richwine wrong. No critic has been able to do that because the statistical evidence supports Richwine’s conclusions. Sadly, political correctness has prevailed and uncomfortable truths are seldom spoken in public because the speaker knows he will be maligned, attacked, and will lose his job and reputation. Speaking uncomfortable truths, particularly with regard to race, leads to 21st century Witch Trials where the gallery who supposedly knows the truth attempts to exorcise the demons from the non-PC speaker.

Those great debts really knock me out
They kick the West’s behind
Angela’s blubbery cellulite is hanging out
That EU troika is always on my, my, my, my mind
Take me to the Carpathian Mountains way down South
Let me foreclose your daddy’s farm
All the way the beggar’s hands are reaching out
Come and keep your comrade warm
I’m back in the EUSSR...
You don’t know how lucky you are, boy

Of course...no debating of data...just silence those who do not agree. The lib way.
You've just gotta love affirmative action. The only people who really benefit are the guilt ridden "progressives" whose consciences are assuaged by the justice of it all.
Funny how Ted Kennedy never gave up his seat to a half black, half Hispanic, half Pacific Islander lesbian however.
I eagerly await Mr. Berdion's factual rebuttal of the dissertation.
He said he had not read Richwines thesis.
Pavloian Chihauahuas? INDEED!
They are products of 13+ years of Marxist indoctrination beginning in their preschools.
Trying to force a genetic explanation onto the issue is not in accord with the evidence..."Isn't that what the psychologists did to justify removing homosexuality from the mental illness category?
Yeah . . . funny how you have “freedom” and “cannot allow” right after the other. That’s called an oxymoron.
Black people’s blood is bad.
WHAT???? HOGWASH!!!! RACIST PIGS!!!!
And then along came sickle-cell anemia.
Which never would have been discovered/addressed/FIXED if we refuse to even discuss the issue.
I had a latino co-worker, originally from South America, who was very proud of his Spanish roots and plastered his cubicle with maps of Spain and other related stuff. I got him really pissed-off when I claimed that Spain became a 3rd-rate nation when they expelled the Jews in the 15th-century, as they ended up kicking out all the smartest people running things in Spain, and Spain never recovered. But it's true; everywhere the Jews settle, the host nation benefits from the Jews intelligence.
So with an influx (or deluge) of latin immigrants into the U.S.A., are we seeing an improvement or a decline in smartness?
