New defenses and distractions in the IRS scandal are going to come rolling out from the administration and its defenders like water off a duck's back.
One ploy is evident in this sympathetic story from Friday's Washington Post seeking to portray the IRS Determinations Unit as a just a group of nice, non-partisan number-crunchers:
The [determinations] staff member [in Cincinnati], who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of losing his job, said that the determinations unit is competent and without bias, that it grouped together conservative applications for consistencys sake so one application did not sail through while a similar one was held up in review. This consistency is paramount in the review of all applications, according to Ronald Ran, an estate-tax lawyer who worked for 37 years in the IRSs Cincinnati office.
Youre not going to have a bunch of flaming liberals in the exempt-organizations department looking for conservative applications, he said.
But look what the anonymous staff member also said:
"We people on the local level are doing what we are supposed to do. . . .Thats why there are so many people here who are flustered. Everything comes from the top. We dont have any authority to make those decisions without someone signing off on them. There has to be a directive. (emphasis added)
Huh. Something doesn't quite "add up." Why? Because on page 7 of the IG report, it states that in June of 2011, the Director of Exempt Organizations learned of the "inappropriate criterion" and directed that they be changed to "focus on the 'political, lobbying or [general] advocacy' activities of the organization." But then, the IG report, page 7, goes on to read that the team of specialists changed them back:(continued)

It is as it appears. It is the powers of the government being used against the political opposition.
It is as clear as can be. It needs to be said that bluntly.
These “nice, non-partisan number-crunchers” are UNION MEMBERS. We’re screwed!!
Brings up another question:
Why are these non-profits not able to support political causes but yet UNIONS can???
Why are unions given tax exempt status? We know they’re VERY POLITICAL.
Rush talked about the union that represents the IRS workers. If I recall, it was you who called them the new Stasi yesterday. That is not far off from what I’ve read and heard on Rush.
Little wonder The One is expanding the civil service work force.
Well, she READ about similes somewhere one time so she thought she'd try her hand at one. Keep trying, Carol.

The flaming liberals don't have to "look for conservative applications" because the drones have already grouped them together!
Is Obamas IRS rapidly becoming a SELECTIVE Domestic Terrorist Organization against the Middle Class?
what great work did the irs lady do ... to earn her reported 100,000$$$$$+ “bonus money” on top of her regular pay and benefits?
just curious. i didn’t know we were paying bonuses on top of the (usually) super-high pay scales? but if she earned that much in bonus money, she must have done something really great for us. praytell, has anyone heard what it was?
Love the comment about Charles Rangel at the end of the article. What a flaming hypocrite.
Washington admits that Barakracy is real, it was predicted years ago.
15 July 2008: "Most lib. cannot take a joke. They are too arrogant. B.O is alway talking down to his audience, with his chin pushed up and out. I coined the phrase 'Barakracy'. IF B.O. ever made it to the White House, I fear bureaucracy might become Barakracy . Those love to pay more taxes would be rejoicing. [70] Posted by: T Chen 15 July 2008 5:14 am"
A couple of Cinci geeks come up with a programing idea. Using keywords in a questionaire response reader they can pick off enemys of the state. So to set this up it must go through supervisor one then supervisor two then on up to the chain of command for approval and budgeting and form design.
You bet this was coordinated and went to the top.
1. Put everyone involved in jail.
2. Cancel their pensions.
3. Disband the IRS.
4. Repeal the income tax.
5. Make government unions illegal.
I’d also consider taking away the right to vote from government employees. When their numbers are so massive, it amounts to an opportunity to vote themselves money out of the pockets of productive citizens.
LOL!
She could have said, “ ... like lies from a Democrat’s mouth,” but that would be redundant.
The activity of the IRS in trampling the civil rights and constitutional rights of conservartives is how radicalization and polarization occurs. This polarization is likely the Alinsky-Obama goal.It has to do with the sacred trop of the left and the “dialectic” process touted by such ideologues as Marx.
Whether that polarization is the result intended by Obama’s attempted social engineering of Conservatives by using the IRS, a direct ideological attack on Conservatives worthy of a Himmler, Mussolini or a Cecescu, or whether Obama simply wanted a short term electoral benefit remains to be seen.
Anger is palpable on the right, and as predicted, the polarization for the ultimate showdown with the left has begun. Congress can stop this polarization pocess by acting effectively. If not, the left will be violently stopped in our streets, cities and institutions.
Conservatives will go to Rome not to praise Ceaser, but to bury him.
Pray someone is willing to take the fight to them.
