Miller refuses to identify 'rogue' IRS employees who targeted conservatives

This is just outrageous - like the rest of Stephen Miller's testimony yesterday.

Reuters:

"Republicans have vowed to find out who was involved, but Miller did not provide much of a road map."

"Who is responsible for targeting these individuals?" asked Representative Kevin Brady, a Texas Republican.

"I don't have names for you," Miller responded.

"Republicans accused him of dodging their questions."

"I'm hearing, 'I don't know, I don't remember, I don't recall, I don't believe,'" said Representative Dave Reichert of Washington. "You don't even know who investigated the case, but yet you say it was investigated."

"Democrats seemed more inclined to accept Miller's explanation."

"Miller appeared to grow irritated over the course of the four-hour hearing, repeatedly interrupting questioners, flashing quizzical looks and shrugging his shoulders."

In other words, you numb nut politicians didn't ask the right questions.

I disagree...Obama is calling the shots. Holder does as he’s told.

Mr Steven Miller’s arrogance and contempt for the Members of Congress questioning him was so patently obvious that it was breathtaking.

If you view the video of where he is being sworn in, he is leaning heavily to the right, and when he brings his hand down he grimaces with disgust.

He certainly needed to be taken down a notch, but the Queensbury-Rules-observant Republican Congressman would not challenge him directly — would not call him on his blatant arrogance.

He should be charged with contempt of Congress.

In fact, I would have to say that Mr Miller’s demeanor bespeaks the confidence of a man who knows he’s bulletproof. In other words, Obama/Holder may have already told him upfront that whatever happens, he can count on an Obama pardon as his last line of defense.

In a way, I wish one of the Congressmen would have jumped over the tables and waled on Mr Miller for a few minutes. In fact, Congressmen may not even be able to be charged for such an act, as long as it occurs on the floor of the House while it is in session.

I watched the swearing in the other day. The oath that Miller took clearly stated;

"...the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth..."

Crime of omission. They should have called the house sergeant at arms and drug his lying azz out of the building and off to jail.

A towel, a bucket of water, and a large flat board and we will know.

This arrogant bastard will flip in a second if threatened with real prison time.

He is the man to put the screws to.

GOP Rep. Mike Kelly was a huge hit at Friday’s House hearing on IRS harassment of conservative groups as he skewered acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller.

“Obama and Holder are not calling the shots, and it has never been so obvious. Follow the money.”

It all still smacks of Progressives gone wild with anticipation of absolute power.

They’re laying the basis for their power structure.

IMHO

He’s guilty of perjury and withholding information from Congress. Put him in the slammer and see if he starts singing a different tune.

Well? We're waiting for a response.

You are correct, but I believe there should have been much more of that kind of thing — and more of it directed at Miller’s personal arrogance.

Why isn’t this guy headed to prison? Just his arrogance should have gotten him time for contempt.

And who's going to prosecute him? Any prosecution would be led by the Justice Dept... like that's going to happen...

Face it, he's going to get away scot-free, as are all of the others involved. Because the criminals control the "justice" system. We've reached the point where we can't possibly fix the problem because those who are the problem are in control and protect each other from justice.
