Mr Steven Miller’s arrogance and contempt for the Members of Congress questioning him was so patently obvious that it was breathtaking.
If you view the video of where he is being sworn in, he is leaning heavily to the right, and when he brings his hand down he grimaces with disgust.
He certainly needed to be taken down a notch, but the Queensbury-Rules-observant Republican Congressman would not challenge him directly — would not call him on his blatant arrogance.
He should be charged with contempt of Congress.
In fact, I would have to say that Mr Miller’s demeanor bespeaks the confidence of a man who knows he’s bulletproof. In other words, Obama/Holder may have already told him upfront that whatever happens, he can count on an Obama pardon as his last line of defense.
In a way, I wish one of the Congressmen would have jumped over the tables and waled on Mr Miller for a few minutes. In fact, Congressmen may not even be able to be charged for such an act, as long as it occurs on the floor of the House while it is in session.
GOP Rep. Mike Kelly was a huge hit at Fridays House hearing on IRS harassment of conservative groups as he skewered acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller.
