Watch out for Petraeus in Benghazi scandal

Joseph Curl

EXCERPT:

Carnival barker Jay Carney looked almost ashen Friday as he took the podium to face a suddenly invigorated press corps. Of course, the public briefing came after a private session with “reporters who matter,” a sure sign the White House is in full hunker-down mode — and, more precisely, terrified.

Speaking for the White House, the flack said the CIA was fully to blame for the talking points. Fully. “That is what was generated by the intelligence community, by the CIA,” he said.

For the record, this is what the CIA “generated”:

“Since April, there have been at least five other attacks against foreign interests in Benghazi by unidentified assailants.” That line was stricken: Everything was fine there — fine fine fine.

And: “We do know that Islamic extremists with ties to Al Qaeda participated in the attack.” That line, too, was deleted by … someone. Instead, this was inserted: “There are indications that extremists participated in the violent demonstrations.”

.........this scandal is just beginning. And the White House has picked a very bad scapegoat: the Central Intelligence Agency. The CIA follows RFK’s edict: “Don’t get mad, get even.” And when the CIA gets even, it isn’t pretty.

With the White House putting all blame on the agency, expect push back this week — nuclear push back. Gen. David H. Petraeus, the former director forced to resign after a sex scandal, is a dangerous man to the Obama administration. Mad and intent on getting even, he’s already talking, telling one reporter the talking points were “useless” and that he preferred not to use them at all. The floodgates will open this week, and by the end of business Friday, the scandal will be full blown...

Interesting question. If Obama was proved to be a fraud, wouldn’t that make Biden part of a fraudulent ticket? So maybe he couldn’t take over either.

That would leave Boner wouldn’t it?

‘Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy, and I will never embarrass my country.’

That was then and this is now, into the fifth year of this sorry administration.

It is my understanding, limited as it is, that Giden was elected by the electoral college. There have been occasions when one from one party and one from the other party were sworn in due to electoral college splits, IIRC. So no, brainless twit Biden would be sworn in by the pirate Roberts and then he would select a veep, probably John Feckless Kerry.

Or maybe Fat Christie ... Biden would need a bigger clown than he for obvious reasons.

[With it being a 9/11 anniversary and our embassies were being attacked all over the Mideast and Africa, are they serious to say we had no military assets ready to go???]

There is always a Marine Expeditionary Unit with a small amphibious fleet that cruises between the Mediterranean and the Arabian Sea. This is a heavily-reinforced battalion with helicopters, landing craft, artillery and a company of four Abrams tanks. Unfortunately on September 11 the MEU was in the Gulf of Aden training in Djibouti, well over 1,000 miles away. One of the missions of an MEU is embassy evacuation.

Col. David Hunt last night on FOX News, Judge Piro, said there were small units of special operations personnel in Germany, Eastern Europe and Italy. He said there was a rapid response team in Croatia that could have been airborne within an hour.

Piro also had a former Navy SEAL on who backed up what Hunt said.

I think Obama decided to cauterize the Benghazi damage by not sending any more forces into the fray for fear of taking more casualties and possibly escalating the battle. He had fundraising to do and he's no wartime president. And I think he went to bed telling Hillary: “This is your mess—you deal with it.”

With the help of the news media they've been able to spin this thing up until last week. The day of the hearing the whole facade began falling apart.

Soooo depressing. We are in such deep do do. Pray for the Rescue and Restoration of America. I am thinking it’s up to the states now.

If the states won’t stand up to Fedzilla, then well- lets just say it doesn’t bode well for the immediate future.

There are compelling reasons to believe little barry boy wanted to cauterize the incident because he feared the reason for Stevens being in Benghazi would out. The regime, through Hicks, now has the notion that Hillahag wanted the Benghazi 'consulate' normalized quickly so she could have a presser event oepning a new venue for normalization in Libya.

But the reason for Chris Stevens being there is much more complicated. The Turkish connection yells at us, as the Turkish representative had just left from a 'dinner meeting' with Stevens when the attacks commenced. The wall had already been breached days earlier, so the compound was not sealed off when the attacks began.

The Turkish government is a go between with the Muslim Brotherhood which Valerie Jarrett represents in the White Hut. The Turks are no lovers of al qaeda, so the idea that Turkey was going to dutifully ferry Libyan arms to the al qaeda terrorists trying to murder Assad's regime is not well thought out. I suspect al qaeda got wind of what Stevens was cooking up with Turkey, for the moose slime brotherhood, and they decided to stop that since they do not get along and want the weapons for themselves.

Remember that 20,000 M4s were hijacked from a Kuwaiti warehouse about the time the Benghazi scandal started to surface. the manpads 'lost' in Libya were a major force multiplier for al qaeda, and if those were sent through Turkey to anyone but al qaeda they would have missed a huge assitance in their murderous efforts int he ME.

I wouldn’t fret yet ....especially since the democrates are the ones saying Obama and Hillary ARE the targets. Even democrates are getting tired of Obama playing victim all the time.

Also...I don’t underestimate Issa...he’s “stacking” and kicking into view ALL who have responsibility in this. He’s already implicated individuales who are fast checking who they told what to... so they won’t fall... when this whole deck of cards falls.

Everybody involved is scrambling and trying to remember...lawyering up and a host of other things to cover their butts..but they can’t trust each other either.

Further Issa saying he’s not after Hillary and Obama doesn’t mean he’s not....you knock out the foundation and the rest of the house falls.

Obongo, his administration, and much of the National Command Authority have NO honor or integrity. They are self serving, craven, moral and physical cowards.

As Edmund Burke said: “All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” So far there are a lot of good men doing nothing, but I think this is changing. I am hopeful this is the case, but it is too early to tell.

Demspey is a fool and a disgrace to the uniform of the USA.

And why weren’t aircraft on “strip alert” 24/7 (like the old days).Because, dumbass, the Middle East is in real turmoil and there might be a need for US aircraft to hit terrorist targets.

What an asskissing, Obama suck-off. Time for his to resign in disgrace. Hope Petraeus shows some guts and tells the whole truth. It’s his last chance to redeem himself.

If the states won’t stand up to Fedzilla, then well- lets just say it doesn’t bode well for the immediate future.

Something to keep in mind is some of the states have and others are becoming ready to ask the Fedzilla for bailouts. If Fedzilla gives one bailout to any state, think dominoes.

The inflationary effect will be immediate and perhaps just the catastrophy the globalist oligarchs are looking to exploit to crash the economy.

If there was a project to send Libyan arms to the Syrian rebels I think it's possible the group that attacked the Benghazi station may have been contracted by Syria or Iran. And that may be why the White House is in no hurry to publicly identify them and track them down. The Libyan president, Mohammed el-Megarif, said a couple of days after the attack that “foreign citizens” directed Ansar al-Sharia members from Benghazi to assault the facility. He also said:“The idea that this criminal and cowardly act was a spontaneous protest that just spun out of control is completely unfounded and preposterous. We firmly believe that this was a precalculated, preplanned attack that was carried out specifically to attack the U.S. Consulate.”

To: Brad from Tennessee; everyone

Am a bit more than troubled by the meeting with the Turkish diplomat. The Turkish diplomat is allowed to leave the area before the attack begins. The Turkish diplomat appears to never have been in any danger. This speaks volumes in regard to a much deeper side to the Turkish diplomat. Wonder if there was an argument during the meeting between the diplomat and our Ambassador, or what would be the purpose of any meeting for a discussion. I realize weapon running has been proposed, as the reason for a meeting, yet if weapons running was the primary reason for the meeting why was the Turkish diplomat allowed to leave the area unscathed and our Ambassador was murdered? This question has given me more than a few sleepless nights and Brad am simply throwing this out. I don’t have the answer and realize you may not have the answer either.

As a Carney, and a former Barker (we are really called talkers), I resent being linked to the guy in Washington! We never outright lie like he does—we build things up, yes, make them better than they are but we do not tell untruths! This guy wouldn’t last a season on the Road—and so to his snake oil salesman boss, Obama.
