It's going OK here. We did have a t-storm move through last evening. Just some thunder and rain but that was about it. The heaviest of the storm moved through Duncan which lost power for a time.
May get some more storms later today and tonight.

I caught 14 keeper crappie yesterday. We had fresh crappie the day before, and had some leftover hamburgers yesterday that needed to be eaten.

Hellodere, Canteeners!
Well, Sarge had an experiment here today. The Christmas present finally got unwrapped: a complete cast iron cookware set! But to use it, it has to be seasoned.
Now Sarge, having lost the directions and emailing the place we got the set from, started seasoning the cast ironmongery - inside the oven in the kitchen.
NOTE TO SELF: open the windows BEFORE putting the oiled iron in the oven...

I have four pieces to the set: a covered pot, a griddle, a skillet, and a Dutch Oven.
I got the pot and the skillet done. The Dutch oven and griddle are for tomorrow.
