Flight time from Rome to Tripoli is 1 hour and a half. Were supposed to believe that the time from our base in Italy to Benghazi is somehow more than 7 hours. DemocRats : "Well, you know how long it takes special forces guys to put on the camo makeup."

Nonsense. It was part of the State Department's delusion that we can demonstrate to the host government that we support them. Even Hicks thought it was good idea.
We should never have diplomatic posts where the host government cannot protect us. I say that having served 28 years in the Foreign Service, including being in Iran when our Embassy was overrun the first time on Feb 14, 1979.

I don’t get to say this very often, but today, I am proud of the republicans involved in this hearing.... some more than others. Issa did a very good job at pulling this together and Trey Gowdy’s style ROCKS - that guy amazes me.
The ‘brave’ whistleblowers were outstanding and they renewed my faith in ‘some’ of our government employees.
As Obama and his filthy tribe watches the pealing of this onion, he simply must be crying. It’s starting to look as though Benghazi may get shoved down his miserable throat.
As always, the corrupt treasonist democrats sucked.

No one knew Clinton wanted Benghazi as a permanent facility. Pickering was shocked to hear this. Secretaries wish Could be because years ago when Qadaffi came to power I think he changed the country's capital, and she wanted to undo that for her newfound friends.

That’s true, because they wanted to pin it on the supposed foul-ups of lower level personnel. However, I meant that a lot of the main players that particular night seem to have disappeared. Also, of course, we have a new CIA head, a new Secy of Defense and a new SOS. I think Obama is trying to distance himself from the whole thing, and churning the personnel is one way to do it.

Cameras still left in the box in Benghazi, that could have been installed and set up....The State Dept. spent $500,000 on solar panels for the Paris embassy.

Past time for her to be brought down.

Interesting the Wikipedia page about him tells where his kids go to school, where his wife works that he has a certain number of nieces and nephews. Lot of details that would make him a target. Very interesting.

Nordstrum also directly contradicted Maloney's baloney.
He said he had talked with the Dems twice!

As Travis McGee has pointed out definitively, ONLY the CIC has can authorize cross border military action.
So the buck stops clearly on 0bastard’s desk for this. He had to be the one who issued the no go order. Only he could have authorized any military action to save the men in Benghazi.

The local government (Libya) would have had to approve the overflight of an armed UAV. So does it follow that Obama had to ask the "Pokistanis" to give us overflight approval for our choppers to strike in Abottabad before we took OBL down?
