Spring has been lovely for the past couple of weeks, mid-60s, dry air, mostly sun. Till today. Woke up to a dark sky and sudden humidity. It’s a hot 73 and rain is due this afternoon.
The blocking high that gave us great weather has finally moved on allowing the precip that waterlogged the mid west to come in. We should have intermittent rain for several days.
You won’t be getting any more snow, will you?

Doing OK. Watching for rain here too. Slight risk for severe storms today and tomorrow.

Love of poetry is actually what sparked my interest in old English.
Immersion in politics only serves to incite me to learn more. It has paid off in enlightenment and makes me hunger to learn more - mostly from books I read.
It’s amazing how worthless we are to the small group of powers that be.

Just tuned into local radar. It shows heavy spotty rain to our north and south going through local towns and avoiding ours like a plague.

I’ve been in nothing but politics since 2001. It used to be fun fighting the Clintons, Gore, Kerry, etc, but Obama has caused us more distress and fear. When I sign off the internet at night I just want some relaxation and not more politics, lol.
I’m toooo serious and don’t fit in well on the ‘funny’ or ‘silly’ threads. Wish I did!

Your Intensity Makes You Adorable |
The face you present to the world is one of determination, passion, and depth. You aren't fooling around! You give everyone and everything your all. You go all in because you feel like something worth doing shouldn't be done halfway.
On the inside, you are less intense than you seem. You can truly be yourself and savor the smaller things when you're alone. And while you can have a larger than life persona, you really cherish your introvert time. You need it to recharge.
Your friends love your intensity because you are never dull or uninspired. There is so much that can be learned from you. You are always discovering new passions and and obsessions. And you can't help but tell everyone you know about them! |

Lol, you must not check Freep profiles. I’m a woman.
You can add me to your list. I’m a ‘dog’ lover but it might give me some grins!!

No, that’s very true, I didn’t check. (/blush)
(Now why does a scene from Monty Python suddenly pop into my head?)

Lol. I'm not a Monty Python fan so can't imagine the scenario - hope it was a happy one, hehe.

Just got back from my chores. Mowed the lawn, walked the dog, went fishing, cleaned out the outside fridge, cleaned fish, etc.

We're promised rain tomorrow.. Talked to daughter in Wichita KA, and they had a bad hail storm this afternoon. She sent pictures of golf ball sized hail that was several inches deep.
