Has the House already issued a similar bill?
Does this bill go to Congress now? Shame on supposed conservatives for voting to raise taxes—pukes...
“The Marketplace Fairness Act”
“The Marketplace Fairness Act”
THEY NEED TO STOP GIVING NAMES TO THE G_D D_MMNED BILLS BECAUSE THEY ARE USING EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION ON THEM.
Bet it dies in the House.
Give me names. Anybody that passes more taxes in a recession should pay with their job.
If only words had meaning.
No quarter.....vote all the YEAs out.
I don’t care if you love them...this a step too far.
no more taxes
no more government (when is enough enough?)
no more laws
we need to repeal the 1965 immigration ACT
repeal Obamacare
and keep repealing laws
If passed this bill would require sellers to be aware of the separate taxing rates in more than 8000 locations around the country. Can you say STOOPID LAW?
Does a law passed by Congress trump the Supreme Court?
Name of the bill is a lie. a brick and mortar business can sell online and many do. Taxing the internet will hurt brick and mortar businesses also. It hurts the American taxpayer by taking away more of their descretionary spending. Thus it hurts ALL business.
Boehner and the House had better shoot this down!
I wonder if this would apply to third party sellers on the big online shopping sites.
"All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives;"
Has this already passed the House, or are we just disregarding The Constitution when it is convenient?

How can this be constitutional when long ago mail order sales across state lines were ruled exempt under the Commerce Clause?
The only difference between mail order sales and internet sales is the method of merchant contact by the buyer, mail order is by mail or phone and internet is by internet or phone.
The delivery method is the same.
They just can’t leave capitalism alone, got to
smother it any way they can.
The youngsters in Ohio whom Obama told to “reject voices warning of government tyranny” should just LOVE this.
H.R. 684: The Marketplace Fairness Act. This is the House version of the Tax bill.
