Thousands of people with serious medical problems are in danger of losing coverage under President Obama's health care overhaul because of cost overruns, state officials say.
At risk is the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan, a transition program that's become a lifeline for the so-called uninsurables -- people with serious medical conditions who can't get coverage elsewhere. The program helps bridge the gap for those patients until next year, when under the new law insurance companies will be required to accept people regardless of their medical problems....

Pain is a great teacher. Can’t say I’m happy about the whole deal, but I am happy that idiots will pay dearly. Sucks for the rest of us.
I’m FAR from being a Rick Perry fan, but he’s starting to look very wise by staying as far away from Obamacare as humanly possible.
Hopefully blue states that eagerly got invoked in Obamacare as much as possible end up like CA air Greece. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people, coming from someone who lives in CT.
Bless you South Carolina Legislature and Governor Nikki Haley for telling the Feds to take their Exchange and shove it.
Now they’re working on nullification of nobamacare. YES!
But that’s not to say that Texas is home free. Even though Republicans have a majority in the House and Senate, some of the major committees are headed by Democrats - Dewhurst and Strauss’ doing. One of those committees is pushing for an expansion of Medicaid. Democrat Chairman is from an area close to the border and are using a Republican on the Committee to try to sell the bill.
Lots of chicanery going on. This year’s session is winding down but there will be a flood of bills hit the last couple of weeks - kind of SHTF time.
