Good morning Meg and (((HUGS))). Cool and windy here now.
I took SILVER? Even with my disgusting, miserable cold?
Is that kind of heroic or WHAT? LOL.
Thanks for the Cold Remedies. I need ‘em.
Yup!
SOUP FOR THE TROOPS
WELCOME TO THE
(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities
Another nice visit with the troops.
Love the homecoming photos.
God bless 'em all.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),
18 million courses of antibiotics are prescribed
for the common cold in the United States per year.
Research shows that colds are caused by viruses.
Fifty million unnecessary antibiotics are prescribed
for viral respiratory infections.
In Greek legend, malicious creatures
called Kallikantzaroi (also spelled Kallikantzari)
sometimes play troublesome pranks at Christmas time.
According to the legend,
to get rid of them, you should burn either salt or an old shoe.
Apparently the stench of the burning shoe (or salt)
drives off the Kallikantzaroi.
Other effective methods include hanging a pig's jawbone
by the door and keeping a large fire
so they can't sneak down the chimney.
When a queen bee lays the fertilized eggs
that will develop into new queens,
only one of the newly laid queens actually survives.
The first new queen that emerges from her cell
destroys all other queens in their cells
and, thereafter, reigns alone.

A study of New York marathoners a few years ago
found that their divorce rate male and female
was twice the national average.
Persons that engage in solitary endurance sports
are the ones most likely to be compulsive exercisers
for example, joggers, long-distance swimmers,
weight-lifters, and cross-country skiers.
Occasionally, devotees of these activities set unrealistic,
ambitious goals and then drive themselves
mercilessly to reach them.
Running late. Gremlins were at work first thing this morning.
After connection came back,
I had some pings and FReepmails to deal with.
And just finished the morning post.
So here I am...for now.
Sure hope I'm back on Canteen schedule next week.
Cold is almost gone...feeling somewhat better.
The FR Canteen is ALWAYS
Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member. There's always plenty of conversation,
silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.

Running behind so I need to get to work
Have a good day
Good morning dear ((HUGS))
The midwest is surely having some strange weather this year.
Daughter may have snow in Kansas today. Sure is strange what the gore bull warming is doing.
Good morning, E...((HUGS))...happy Thursday.
You and Bo have a great day. Trying to rain here...just barely above freezing.
Good morning, Arrowhead...((HUGS))...a smattering of rain here, with “them” suggesting some snow. Even if it does, shouldn’t stick.
Have a great Thursday.
Heigh, Ho!!!
Good morning Kathy and (((HUGS))). It’s dropped almost 20 degrees since 6 AM.
((HUGS))Good morning, LUV W. How’s it going?
