On April 17, my colleagues and I introduced immigration legislation. It marked a first step toward achieving the strongest border security and enforcement measures in U.S. history, modernizing our legal immigration system to unleash strong economic growth and job creation, and dealing with our undocumented immigrant population in a tough, but fair way that is directly linked to achieving several security triggers.
While I believe this legislation will accomplish these things, I am also confident that an open and transparent process one that engages every senator and the American people will make it even better. I believe this kind of open debate is critical in helping the American people understand whats in the bill, what it means for you and what it means for our future.
During my time in the Senate, many of you have written to me about your concerns with our immigration system. Today, I want to share this video with you in which I outline what this legislation sets out to do. And most importantly, I want to invite you to share your thoughts and submit your ideas below, on ways we can improve it.

I told him no deal...enforce the present law first...will not vote for him if this passes..
“Colleagues”
See if they refer to Rubio as a colleague if he listens to his CONSTITUENTS-the only people who should matter to him- and deserts this effort.
Colleagues.
He’s such a schmuck.
How do you say Chris Christie in Spanish ???
Marco Rubio
(I borrow that one from elsewhere)
Here’s what I sent:
1. Close the borders immediately.
2. Find out who’s here; who belongs, who doesn’t.
3. Those who don’t belong here must be cut off from any Federal, state, local aid IMMEDIATELY.
4. Those who’ve been removed from the public teat will, most likely, wander back over the border. Once there, they can legally apply for entry LIKE MY GRANDPARENTS DID.
5. Those illegals who arrived by plane from across the Atlantic or Pacific will be given airfare back to the country from whence they came. Once there, they can legally apply for entry LIKE MY GRANDPARENTS DID.
Please don’t sugarcoat AMNESTY. We’re not all as stupid as you believe us to be.
No immigrant, having been in the country illegally, shall obtain citizenship without a term of involuntary servitude equal to the greater of (a) the amount of time they have been present in the united states illegally & w/o incarceration, or (b) one year.
RUBIO IS LYING!!! HE knows what should be done, but he and his amnesty cohorts are NEVER going to listen to what we think. THEY don’t CARE! All opposition has been sidelined.

No One’s Paying Attention to Michele Bachmann on Immigration This Time
The commentary at Senator Rubio’s “Help Improve the Bill” site is kicking his RINO butt.
Stick a fork in it.
You piece of garbage.
if those in DC are serious about doing what is right for us tax payers, they will adopt these measures. If not, they are governing against us working class people and need to be held accountable and it's a fools errand to think that elections can be trusted to rid ourselves of the pro illegal immigration traitor politicians. President Dwight Eisenhower had an immigration policy called the Bracero Program where an employer had to request and sign for immigrant laborers. All who were in the US illegally got deported post haste. In the long run deportation was the cheapest fix because it stopped others from trying to get in illegally. President Eisenhower took his oath of office seriously. The only thing today's politicians take seriously are how to screw over this country and take advantage of the working middle class.

Yes, they are. I just wish more of the public understood the reality of the ‘gang of 8’ and their liberal tactics. But Rubio/Conda/Norquist/McCain have the media on their side.
I’m going to comment:
1. Get rid of your chief of staff Cesar Conda & mouthpiece Grover Norquist, who have destroyed EVERY attempt at immigration enforcement for 3 decades.
2. Address the anchor baby sitution.
3. Allow the border patrol and groups like CIS, numbersusa and many others to testify, instead of ALL open border groups as you have been doing.
4. STOP lying about what is in S744 and STOP using SPLC talking point to try to destroy YOUR CONSERVATIVE/TEA PARTY base!

For the sake of their own importance legislators have to make things look more complicated than they are.
The Ten Commandments consist of TEN sentences, fer cryin' out loud....and these comprehensive and simply-stated words have guided the world from time immemorial.
Where's Moses when ya need him?

I bet it never gets ‘approved’ to be shown.
Rubio we do not need legislation. We need deportation!
Follow the Laws of the United states of America and there will not be a problem!
Send LA Raza back to Mexico where it belongs!
I went up to 50 responses, the result was 4 for, the rest against. That’s not a very good percentage. lol
How about you stop lying about the terms of the debate? Amnesty means “They get to stay.” Period. Penalties, fines or waiting periods not withstanding. Anyone who inters illegally or overstays their visa for 6 months or more should be forever banned from entry or legal residency.
Is this a joke? If the gang of 8 and 20 million illegals have no respect for our laws why should I?
All illegals must return to their country of origin and the border must be secured. Get back to me when that is done and then we can talk.
You have proven to be a huge disappointment although I doubt that you ever were a "nation of laws, Constitutional Conservative" that you played during the election."
I have feeling that I won't be getting a Christmas card from Marco this year.
