The checks printed as they should, but we still, for the third week in a row, had to input/compute a short 1200 by hand....entering 8 at a time. This is getting really old and we are all ready to mutiny.
But...this week we did the entering during the day....4 solid hours. I hope LOTS of other companies complained that they couldn’t get in to do their payrolls. Maybe someone will get it fixed!

Whining is ok when you don’t feel well, especially when all you can do is wait.
Finally got my Dad’s corrected death certificates, so I took Thursday off to try and get everything taken care of that requires one...like the utilities and banking stuff. And my Mom has a dental appointment and some lab work. Busy day.

SOUP FOR THE TROOPS
WELCOME TO THE

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities
Another nice visit with the troops.
I am always amazed at how large those planes are
when I see pictures of their cargo hold.
DC METROLAND WEATHER

to generally sunny skies for the afternoon.
High 66F. NNW winds shifting to WSW at 10 to 15 mph.
~ Tonight... Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Making Z Zoup
A pinch of this...a tablespoon of that...
More people are allergic to cow's milk
than any other food.
Male cockatoos can be taught to speak,
but females can only chirp and sing.
Using a graphite tennis racket
reportedly helps prevent the onset of "tennis elbow."
Olympic badminton rules say that the shuttlecock
has to have exactly 16 feathers.
The best shuttles are made from the feathers
from the left wing of a goose.
Benjamin Franklin was America's first political cartoonist.
His drawing of a snake divided into eight parts was published in Philadelphia in 1754.
The FR Canteen is ALWAYS
Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member. There's always plenty of conversation,
silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.
