Boston terror suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has a three-year-old daughter with a middle-class college student who converted to Islam, MailOnline can reveal.
Convert: A woman believed to be Katherine Russell, the wife of Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev outside her family's Rhode Island home today.
The 26-year-old Chechen – who was shot dead by cops last night – was regularly seen at Katherine Russell's family home in Rhode Island, alongside their young daughter Zahara.
And neighbours today spoke of their shock at waking up to see Katherine's home being raided by the FBI and cops before dawn this morning.
While a woman fitting the 24-year-old's description was seen answering the door at the family house, athough her identity has not yet been confirmed.
A man, believed to be Katherine's father, Warren Russell, said: 'We have no comment at this time.' When the brunette thought to be Katherine emerged from the house to meet a friend who had come to comfort her, she told MailOnline: 'No comment.'
One neighbour told how Katherine - who also uses the last name Tsarnaeva - converted to Islam shortly after starting school at Suffolk University in Boston, saying she believed the couple were married.
Speaking from the quiet suburb, the neighbour said: ‘I knew Katherine was married and she had converted to Islam.

I wonder how I would react if one of my kids decided to convert to Islam. Like anything else we middle class Christian Americans would consider ‘out of the norm’ (like coming out of the closet) we would hope we could continue to love them but I would have serious reservations about being able to interact with my kid who did that.
And why is she living at her parents’ home with a 3 year old? Where did HE live? So many questions, so few (acceptable) answers.
12 years ago, Before 911, hardly any American gave 2nd thought to the religion of peace. Why not study 1200 year history of India since Muslim invasion began there? Those who ignore history shall be doomed to repeat it.

Many Americans have thought a lot about Islam because of the 1979 Tehran embassy siege, the 1986 Berlin discotheque bombing, the 1985 highjacking of TWA flight 847 from Athens to Rome, the 1985 hijacking of the cruise ship Achille Lauro and the murder of wheelchair-bound Leon Klinghoffer, the 1972 murder of the Israeli Olympic team in Munich, the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Scotland, the 2000 USS Cole bombing, the 1983 Marine barracks bombing in Beirut, the 2002 Bali nightclub bombing, etc.
What’s different is that it finally came to our shores in 2001 because we did almost nothing about it in the preceding 40 years.
This strikes somewhat close to home for me.
My baby half sister married a Moroccan man (who I assume to be muslim) about eight years ago. During the Bush years, her husband couldn’t get a visa to come to the US, so they lived in Morocco.
Not long after Obomba was elected, he was finally allowed to come here (big surprise). I don’t know that she ever converted to Islam, but she’s as liberal as they come. Probably a charter member of code pink or some such.
The husband hasn’t blown himself up yet, but seeing stories like this, does cause that thought to cross my mind.

Why is there no reporting in the media on what mosque these guys attended? Is that because the Saudi who Obama wanted to get out of the country has a connection at that same mosque?
Maybe she was beaten beyond recognition or told that their daughter would be kidnapped and taken over to M.E. never to be seen again.
Can’t tie it to religion? She CONVERTED to his death cult, and he’s a murderer. So they want to be covered by the innocence of the Christianity that he insisted she abandon in favor of Islam? Sick, evil people.
Take a good look at the ‘wife’- she represents the IGNORANCE and NAIVETE of a large part of America. She could see no evil in Islam, she thought all religion was the same so she converted. And what did Islam bring her? DEATH, horror,murder and disgrace. That’s all it ever brings. There’s a lesson here.
Ask average Joe-6Pack on street about all those foreign events. Most never heard the term “jihad” before 911.

Our local news reported that the Boston-area mosque the younger brother attended announced that they were closing down until further notice (at the suggestion of Gov Patrick).
EOD will probably be stuck there for a month.
