This strikes somewhat close to home for me.
My baby half sister married a Moroccan man (who I assume to be muslim) about eight years ago. During the Bush years, her husband couldn’t get a visa to come to the US, so they lived in Morocco.
Not long after Obomba was elected, he was finally allowed to come here (big surprise). I don’t know that she ever converted to Islam, but she’s as liberal as they come. Probably a charter member of code pink or some such.
The husband hasn’t blown himself up yet, but seeing stories like this, does cause that thought to cross my mind.
Didn’t she watch “Not Without My Daughter” before marrying the guy?
