He really is charismatic.
You get the feeling that he really does believe what he is saying.
That being said I don't think you can negotiate with the left when you have Chuck U claiming that immigration security does not come first. That's a nonstarter and originally that was what Marco said in the beginning,hopefully he has not changed his mind. Marco's argument now is that if the regime does not do the job,secure the border, in five years immigration security goes local. Five years is forever. Bad deal, IMHO.

He didn’t say that did he? He said that the border has to be 100/90% complete before one green card is issued...
It contain a provision to create another committee, if Homeland Security doesn't secure the border.

The more he pushes his points, the faster he talks, as if he is afraid people might actually ‘hear’ what he is saying.

This bill turns out to be like Obamacare — THEY will have to pass it, so WE can find out what is in it. It will be another massive boondoggle bill that will end up having piles of new government bureaucracy and regulations.
Like it's been said so many times before here, why not take a first step: SEAL the damn border and ENFORCE all of the existing laws.
If/when gubmint does this (which I don't expect to ever happen), then "reform" steps can be examined, but NOT even considered until the first step is completed.
(I know, I know, it will never happen.)

IMHO, this is another betrayal of America by Obie and Company. The problem for him is it did’t happen 6000 miles away.
