I live in WA State, where they have been giving drivers’ licenses to illegals for years, accompanied by motor voter.
My suggestion has long been, go ahead give them drivers’ licenses, but stamp them ALIEN and require that the license be accompanied by a full set of finger prints and a prepaid insurance policy. The license would expire whenever the insurance policy expires. They could not be renewed except in person with a fingerprint check. The Alien licenses could have embedded GPS chips.
We have a terrible problem with illegals being involved in traffic accidents and other crimes and then just disappearing. They have no birth certificate or valid ID to begin with, so moving and changing their name is too easy.
