The Department of Homeland Security has not issued a terror alert in response to Monday's bombings in Boston. On the Department of Homeland Security’s National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) website, the administration says: “There are no current alerts.”
According to a source with knowledge of these matters, a terror alert "gives authority for full mobilization of law enforcement resources to feds, state and locals.” The source told Breitbart News that the administration is supposed to issue such an alert out of the National Counterterrorism Center, via NTAS, but no such alert has been issued after the bombings in Massachusetts.
Describing the NTAS on a Frequently Asked Question page, the Department of Homeland Security says:
When there is credible information about a threat, an NTAS Alert will be shared with the American public. It may include specific information, if available, about the nature of the threat, including the geographic region, mode of transportation, or critical infrastructure potentially affected by the threat, as well as steps that individuals and communities can take to protect themselves and help prevent, mitigate or respond to the threat.

I doubt it’s a domestic group but the DHS wold certainly like to imply that it was as per their usual demonization.
Domestic groups target government offices and politicians.
Terrorists target the people.
Perhaps DHS placed it in the “Workplace Violence Alert” tab on their website. This early in the year it could be called “Workplace Violence Alert Abdullah” or if we forgot the first one already...”Workplace Violence Alert Achmed”.

I did a little channel surfing early this morning and it just seemed to me as if the MSM was acting in a strange manner. The folks on ABC were talking about how hard it is for the FBI to track and uncover some of these people/groups, etc. Almost seemed like they were giving cover. I couldn’t help but wonder what the coverage would’ve been like had Bush been in office?
Obama’s talk last night about not rushing to judgement also had me wondering: who was he talking about? Don’t rush to believe it was a white TEA Party guy? Or, more likely, don’t rush to believe it was a peaceful Muslim.

We will know the identity of the evil-doers soon.
First Obama and Janetalia have to decide which group of conservatives they want to hang it on.

The lack of an alert is perfectly rational. They had no hint of the Boston attack. It is therefore reasonable they have no knowledge of any other attacks.
The damage from over reacting is greater than the event. After all, there were only two killed in Boston. That is half of the toll in Bengazi. That means the efforts are actually decling in force. That means we are actually winning. /s

If it was a Timothy McVeigh-type it would be five-alarm terror alert.
More than likely, it was a targeted attack. The WH knew the Boston Marathon was a target.
The more people involved in the operation, the more likely the noise will be picked up.
If they honestly didn’t know it was ROP, the President would not have warned us about jumping to conclusions. He would have been on his “punish the guilty and the people who drove them to it” soapbox.
Maybe the carrier pigeons addressed to the DHS’ emailophobic chief got lost.
