When a group of black men were planning a home-invasion robbery in Fayetteville, N.C., on Friday, they stuck to an M.O. that had succeeded all over the country, but made one fatal error: They chose the wrong home.
The residents of the targeted house were home at the time and armed. After what local authorities report as a gun battle, two of alleged robbers died.
Most home invasion robberies follow the same script: Find a residence in a nice neighborhood where people do not live too close together. Statistics show potential victims are likely white or Asian, though professional athletes of all races are common targets, too. In this case, police are not identifying the identity of the home owner.
In an increasingly common crime around the country, especially in rural areas near cities, the perpetrators rush in, maybe beat up the occupants, take what they came for and get out. Maybe kill someone. Maybe not.
But this is the most important part of the plan: The potential victims need to be defenseless.
And that is where Xavier White, Dominik Lavon Council, Lamyer Gorminie Campbell and Derek Rashaun Hair went wrong: They chose the wrong house.
Police are not releasing the name of the homeowner who shot and killed two of these men as they broke into his home 3:37 a.m. Friday.
Xavier White reportedly died after crawling to a neighbors house a block a way and begging for help. Dominik Lavon Council was reportedly found nine miles away, abandoned on the road with a fatal gunshot wound. They were all good boys that got in with the wrong crowd.
Good. Another obama voter who wont get to vote in person next election.
This is the right that the left wants to take away from us. Don’t kid yourself. Their intention is to eliminate the Second Amendment. Doesn’t matter what they say.
They want the violent criminal to waltz right in and take what is “rightfully” his from the one who worked hard for it all his life.
What’s rightfully his is a big dog biting him in an area about 1 foot higher than my dog’s head, and the silence of the night broken with a few sharp loud sounds and one ka-thump moan.
Yeah, I was wondering if the neighbor helped it along. They need to dump the bodies on Biden’s front door step. Two to four shots, my aunt fanny.
Regards,
GtG
Me too. :-)
I would do the same. My problem is in California you are not allowed to protect yourself with a gun and would be charged with discharging a weapon and manslaughter. Would end up in jail after a huge trial and my total destruction. In spite, I would promise the weapon would be enough that the ass holes would be dead on the spot.
Hey you can’t say these things.
Author is obviously racist. /sarc
Yeah, they were probably wonderful fathers to their multitude of children by different baby mamas, were just about to get their GEDs and went to a narcotics anonymous meeting a few months back. Wait for the articles quoting their relatives saying they did not deserve to be shot down in cold blood, etc.
I don't know where you came up with this BS but in CA you can indeed shoot someone who breaks into your home. You can't shoot them in the back as they are running away and you can't chase them outside and then shoot them, but you are certainly within your legal rights to shoot anyone who breaks in. Get a clue and know your law before some home invader kills you because you think you shoot them.
An article about the invasion gave the name of the block where it happened, and Google street view picture of the homes on that block just screamed “Army NCOs, officers, or veterans”. All brick homes, very similar in appearance, all with mowed front yards, garbage and recycle bins out front and new, late model cars.
Fayetteville, NC, is the hometown of Fort Bragg, NC, home of the 82nd Airborne Division.
I strongly suspect that these criminals were not from around there. That street block of homes probably had a combined arsenal equivalent to a medium sized town’s police department. And probably some weapons that police don’t carry.
And a *lot* of those soldiers, active duty or not, are veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan.
It's those Amish kids, goin' wacko again with those crazy Amish names.
They were all good boys that got in with the wrong crowd.
Yeah, like their mothers.
Now see wouldn’t it be better, not to mention more egalitarian, if the homeowner was dead, his wife raped, and all his stuff in the hands of the thieves? Just like Dick Durban wants.
Damned Amish perps!
Thats kinda what I was thinking

When I was in high school my kid brother got attacked by another student who had a knife. My brother got cut on the hand, but decked his attacker. (He had a portable chess set with him, which had a pretty heavy wood box to contain it. Slammed the guy on the side of the head with it.)
A week later the guy and his friends tried to jump my brother as a gang. He cleaned their clock by grabbing a chair and using it to clear the decks.
The next week, having decided my brother was too tough a nut to crack, one of the guy's friends — one who went to the school I was attending — attacked me in the cafeteria at lunchtime. They figured me for an easy mark as I was overweight and had a reputation as a bookworm.
Instead, I mopped up the floor with the guy — almost literally. I fought the first thirty seconds defensively, waiting for a teacher to come and break it up. (I was in a cafeteria, for Pete's sake with a circle of kids screaming “fight! fight.”) After watching the teacher on lunch duty walk up, see there was a knife and walk away, I realized I was on my own, and decided I had to end it myself. Since I couldn't run (he had a knife) I closed, grabbed him, tossed him against a wall, jumped on top of him and proceeded to repeatedly bash his head against a concrete floor.
He did manage to stab me and puncture a lung, but the fight ended with four students pulling me off of him thirty seconds before I would have killed him. (As it was, I scrambled his brain badly enough that he could not get up for five minutes. The school cop caught him, literally red-handed at that point, covered with my blood, trying and failing to sit up.)
At that point, they decided they were playing a real-life version of “Three Billy Goats Gruff.” They never attempted to go after my older brother, and left my brother and I alone after that — especially as my attacker went to prison for the attack.
This was back in the distant past, before zero-tolerance infected schools, so I faced no penalty for my actions.
Afterward, other students thought I was brave for attacking someone with a knife bare-handed. From my point of view I really did not have any other option. No one else was going to help me. Had I been able to escape I would have run like hell, but I could not. I wasn't a hero — just a chicken without any other options.
On the other hand, I was a chick-magnet for the rest of my time at that school (and for the only time in my life). Not a great way for that to happen, but I understood why star athletes get so full of themselves by the end of the semester. (I was actually glad it was my senior year, or I would have ended up believing the press clippings.)
Anyhow, revenge assaults, especially against someone capable of stopping an attack the first time around, do occasionally end badly.
These guys are thugs in it for the money. My bet is that they never come back, but rather look for targets in more liberal neighborhoods — the ones that declare themselves to be gun free zones.
More of Obama’s offspring.............
I notice that neither of these 2 are small in stature-—only in morals.
If the other 2 are equal in size....
How wonderful that 4 big black guys have to try & invade a home at 3:37 AM and punish the homeowner for having something they will never have.
This is another reason why we all need our weapons...
Note to Janet Nappy—a pair of scissors or a curtain rod wouldn’t have helped this homeownere one little bit!!!
