President Obama will not comment on the trial of Pennsylvania abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell because the trial is ongoing, a spokesman said Monday.
The president does not and cannot take a position on an ongoing trial, so I wont as well, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney told reporters when asked about the trial.
However, Carney said, the president is aware of the case. Certainly, the things that you hear and read about this case are unsettling, he added. But I cant comment further on an ongoing legal proceeding.

What was it Captain Renault said when Rick’s Cafe was shut down for gambling?
Of course he had no problem commenting about his son Traycon’s case.
Zimmerman hadn’t even made it to trial yet, and BHO had no problem inserting himself.
Damn phones. Trayvon....
Gosnell could’ve been 0bama’s brother!
Or maybe 0bama could’ve said “Gosnell acted stupidly”?
0bama and his fellow traveller Holder of the Just-us dept had no problem commenting voluminously on the Travon Martin killing, causing the resignation of a police chief and the indictment of an innocent man who was trying to defend himself from yet another hooded, trashy gangsta wannabe.
Gosnell acted stupidly.

Someone should point out the following to Baghdad Carney...
“If I had a sone, he would look like Trayvon.”
“The police acted stupidly”
Both were postitional statements given in the initial stages of investigation with the intent of a state trial.
That statement alone says all one would need to know about the vile, perverted, evil, ignoramous that infests the White House, as well as his Demonic Party and propogandist enablers.
WOW! That's cool!
Hey, was that in effect during the George Zimmerman arrest and arraignment? Wait.... what? No, looks like he had a lot to say about that case.
Hey, I know: That HAD to be in effect when Henry Louis Gates Jr., a professor, was arrested for disorderly conduct!! Wait... what? No, looks like Obama said the police acted stupidly, and questioning the role race played in the arrest.
Okay, so it's obvious Obama is not at all averse to speaking about cases when they are unfolding and in arrest, arraignment, or trial phases.
So one is left to wonder, why can he not comment on THIS one?
