Upon taking office, senators-elect must swear or affirm that they will "support and defend the Constitution." The president of the Senate or a surrogate administers the oath to newly elected or re-elected senators. The oath is required by the Constitution; the wording is prescribed by law.
"A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
Any senator who fails to support and defend the second amendment which most definitely is part of the constitution is a TRAITOR!!
Traitors beware!!

I have been emailing my “representatives” their oath of office since December. I have explained the words to them, and I have demanded they resign since they have violated their oath. So far, no response and no resignations. I guess it is to be expected in the Unconstitution state.

I am very discouraged by the actions of my senator (Burr) it is as if Obama has, or should I say does have a got you file on all in congress. There is so much we have on this tyrant alleged president yet won't act, something has to happen soon. I'll be 71 and hope to see justice served before something catches up to me.
All my fellow freepers donate monthly, FR is our site of truth and deserves/requires our support so geter done and donate.

The oath is required by the Constitution.. I'm no constitutional expert but what happens if they break that oath which obviously they are doing? Surely there must be some provision or law where they can be removed from office? If not, then the oath is meaningless. So how do we get them removed and even better removed and prosecuted?
