The Extension to the Turnpike terminates at Florida City.
It is the route I was SUPPOSED to take, but they had taken away the sign and the ramp was under construction.
The ride home was LOVELY!

You Are Not Adventurous??!! |
The thrills that other people seek don't really hold much appeal for you. Bungee jumping? Skydiving? No thanks! You prefer to travel...around the world or around the country...especially with FRiends!!
And while you aren't typically adventurous, you're probably adventurous in ways that go unnoticed. Maybe you read voraciously. You get your thrills in a more peaceful, sustainable way. Like shooting lots of guns when possible. :) |

Hee Hee - good one! It’s more like “would you gents like to change your underwear now?” I remember one time when landing in a storm and one engine went out. I developed the hiccups and I asked my FO to scare me so’s to get rid of them.

I love doing these things and reading the comments from you all. This one was tough though - no suitable option for the In 10 Years though for someone my age, particularly when we are watching our America be destroyed. Not sure we want to see 10 more years of this.

You Are Adventurous |
You are quite adventurous and brave, but you are also reasonable about it. You don't have to be on an adventure 24/7. You have good judgment and balance. You like to try new and exciting things, but you also pay attention to risk.
You're not the type of person who would throw your life away just to go on a new trip or have a new romantic partner. You like your thrills in small, safe doses. You are gutsy in all aspects of your life from career to relationships. |

I remember it well. I was very interested in submarines in my youth. Read a lot of books on them - Run Silent Run Deep - Raising of the S-51, etc.
I worked on a lot of plastic models back then. USS George Washington - the first Polaris submarine.
I've always been in awe of the men who served in our subs - they are a special breed. My cousin (by marriage) served in subs for twenty-five years. An outstanding officer, he died of a heart attack before his fiftieth birthday in 1998. He was advanced posthumously to Rear Admiral.

Keep It Simple
April 10, 2013
James Madison, fourth president of the United States, was instrumental in the drafting of the US constitution. He warned against creating laws so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood. Based on some of the complicated government forms Ive read, thats advice that still needs to be heeded a little more often!
Sometimes when sharing the gospel, we make it more complicated than it needs to be. We can be glad that the Bible presents the good news of salvation in clear, easily understood language. Jesus said to Nicodemus, an educated Pharisee, that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). He later said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (14:6). The apostle Paul said it in straightforward language to the jailor in Philippi who asked how to be saved: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31).
Gods precious love story is simple. He sent His Son to rescue us from sin and death. Wonderful news that even children can understand.
Tell me the story of Jesus,
Write on my heart every word;
Tell me the story most precious,
Sweetest that ever was heard. Crosby
Through faith in Christ, we receive Gods pardon and escape sins penalty.

My Nephew Matt served on the USS Honolulu till it was recently decommissioned.
My Dad was in the Navy in WW2 and Korea, and instilled in all his kids a love of America, The Sea, The US Navy, and all-things-nautical.
I made those models too!
The HARDEST one was the USS Constitution.
All that rigging!
