Sheriff's official says a suspect has been arrested after a stabbing attack at a Houston-area community college campus left 14 people injured, including 12 that required hospitalization. At least a few victims are listed in critical condition.
Lone Star community college's campus in Cypress posted an alert on its website just before 12 p.m. warning students of two armed suspects and saying one person remains at large. The alert warned people to seek shelter in a secure location.

I don’t know if I should call for (1) a ban on knives or (2) a ban on stupid students who are incapable of defending themselves from a knife-wielding nut job.

What you have to do, is, make a ruler with YOUR definition of how long an inch is.
The latest info on the slashing/stabbing with the knife, is, one white male who ran from building to building, slashing people on the head, face, and neck. The number I hear now is 15 with three not wanting treatment. The rest were sent to two hospitals. Critical and serious sent to a trauma Houston hospital by helicopter. Two are in critical condition, the rest in fair condition.
He ran and slashed/stabbed as he went so people didn't realize anything was happening at the other end of the hall until they got slashed as he ran by. Then ran in another building and continued to stab and slash down that hall.
If there had been a gun shot, people would have reacted quickly to get out of the way.
I would bet you there will be a call for a ban on knives and inches may be limited, Kart, so make your new ruler.

Great idea man, Obummer's gonna love it. He may award you an autographed 5x7 photo of himself grinning like a possum eatin briar berries. You'll probably want to frame it and put it on your desk where everybody can see it.
What do you say, let's get the ball rolling by melting down our own "weapons of war", OK? I'll melt down mine if you will and we can cast the metal into a statue of Obummer standing in the Rose Garden with one foot on the Constitution and his other foot kicking Wayne Lapierre's butt. We might even get a medal of some kind, I want mine engraved to say "He gave his all (all his guns that is) to save mankind".
Yeah, but what would that medal be made of? Cheddar cheese?
Time to ban all assault knives.
