Anybody think to ask the genius why the filibuster exists at all?

Geeze, and to think many of us don’t understand how a guy whose claim to fame is getting shot down and then spending six years in prison holds and messes with a senate seat for lo these many years.

Thanks Arizona, once again, for voting in this progressive clueless jackass.

Hey Juan. The 2nd amendment is not open for debate, idiot.

If the Republicans WANT to slowly give up Constitutionally guaranteed rights, then opening up talks, debating with the gun-grabbers, and incrementally compromising with Socialists who dream of massacring their unarmed opponents, if that is the ultimate goal of the Republicans, then -- sure -- the filibuster makes no sense at all.

But, if you value inalienable rights, then there is simply nothing to talk about. Nothing at all.

one of the world’s greatest deliberative bodies

How long has it been since the Senate last did any deliberating? Certainly never since Dingy Harry took charge.

What’s not to understand? This is how stampedes get headed off. The rush to get something, anything, on the books as a “solution” for gun violence, only to realize later that far more regulation is ALREADY inscribed in the old statutes and law codes, and not repealed, that is not today being enforced.

Passing “new” laws is about as ineffectual of a strategy that could be thought up, if, like the laws already on the book, these “new” laws will only be enforced capriciously and sporatically, as the political coloration of the target changes.

Armed NRA members are regarded as MORE dangerous than armed gangbangers from Chicago. Yet, in a year’s time, how many persons die at the hands of gangbangers, and how many die at the hands of NRA members?

Bill Cunningham - you didn't understand 0bama.

POWs - you didn't understand loyalty.

Steve Schmidt - you didn't understand conservatives.

ANWR - you didn't understand the Glowbull Warming hoax.

McLame hasn’t understood a lot for many years now. I really believe we’re seeing the first signs of senility.

what a cuckoo bird. the filibuster IS part of the debate. I guess he thinks Harry Reid’s senate is some fantasy gathering of extraordinary gentlemen who are going to engage in honest debate.

he’s really making a fool of himself. does he ever see his scumball democrat friends criticize their own members?

That sums up their arrogance and how far they’ve strayed.
