NBC's Al Roker was appalled by a poll of conspiracy theories that showed 37 percent of those surveyed believed global warming was a hoax. During a discussion, on Wednesday's Today show, of a Public Policy Polling survey that included respondents' views on everything from the John F. Kennedy assassination to the existence of Bigfoot, co-host Willie Geist reported: "Global warming is a hoax. Thirty-seven percent believe that."
To which Roker responded with an audible, "Wow!" and then later scolded global warming skeptics: "Okay, two words: Superstorm Sandy!" (video after the jump)
The following is the relevant exchange as it was aired on the April 3 Today show:

Al Roker the black replacement for Willard Scott , he should have replaced Willard as Bozo the clown, he is more suited for it.
They looked for a black replacement and found a jovial fat black man and hired Al. Al is not known for being the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Roker is an idiot. TWC drives the AGW agenda.
Had it on this morning, and was reminded of the evil carbon destroying Earth. Pathetic.
By the way someone asked Willard Scott where he got his weather information and Willard said from the phone company weather report.
I doubt Al has a better source.
To which Roker responded with an audible, “Wow!” and then later scolded global warming skeptics: “Okay, two words: Superstorm Sandy!” (video after the jump)
Al is an idiot, as these examples show:
between 1278 and 1438 A major hurricane struck the modern-day New York/New Jersey area, probably the strongest in recent millennium.[1]
October 29, 1693 The Great Storm of 1693 causes severe damage on Long Island, and is reported to create the Fire Island Cut as a result of the coast-changing storm surge and waves.[2][3]
September 23, 1785 Several large ships crash into Governors Island as a result of powerful waves which are reported to have been generated by a tropical cyclone.[3]
August 19, 1788 A hurricane strikes New York City or Long Island and is reported to have left the west side of the Battery “laid in ruins” after severe flooding occurs.[3]
October 9, 1804 Heavy snow falls in Eastern New York peaking at 30 inches (75 cm) as a hurricane tracks northward along the East Coast and becomes extratropical, as cold air fed into the system
September 3, 1821 The 1821 Norfolk and Long Island hurricane results in severe damage on Long Island and is accompanied by storm surge of 13 feet (4 m). High wind causes a ship to crash on Long Island killing 17 people.[7]
October 13, 1846 The Great Havana Hurricane of 1846 tracks inland, causing some damage to New York City.[3]
October 6, 1849 Severe structural damage occurs in New York City and Long Island with the passage of a hurricane to the east.[3]
September 21, 1938 The New England Hurricane of 1938 (Also Called “The Long Island Express”) makes landfall on Suffolk County (Long Island) as a category 3 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane scale.[23] Wind gusts of 125 mph (200 km/h) and storm surge of 18 feet (5 m) washes across part of the island.[24] In New York 60 deaths and hundreds of injuries were attributed to the storm.[25] In addition, 2,600 boats and 8,900 houses are destroyed.[26] Throughout New England the hurricane killed over 682 people,[27] damaged or destroyed over 57,000 homes, and caused property losses estimated at $4.7 billion (2005 US dollars).[28]
September 14, 1944 The 1944 Great Atlantic Hurricane makes landfall on Long Island as a category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane scale at a high forward speed of 40 mph (64 km/h). Wind gusts of well over 100 mph (160 km/h) breaks previous wind records in New York City, while a minimum pressure reading of 28.47 inches is recorded on Long Island. 117 homes are completely destroyed, while 2,427 are severely damaged and almost 1000 businesses are destroyed or damaged. In all, six people are killed, and one person is injured.[29]
1954 Hurricane Hazel - wind gust of 113 mph at Battery Park, highest ever recorded in New York City.
August 31, 1954 Hurricane Carol makes landfall on Long Island and produces wind gusts of 120 miles per hour (190 km/h) on Montauk Point.[3] On eastern Long Island near where Carol made landfall, a pressure of 960 mbar is recorded.[30] Winds on the island gust to 120 mph (195 km/h). The hurricane’s storm surge covers the Montauk Highway in Montauk, effectively isolating eastern Long Island for a period of time. Due to the compact nature of the storm, most of Long Island is largely unaffected by the hurricane.[30] Specific damage totals for New York are unknown, although the storm in its entirety causes $460 million (1954 USD) in damage.[30]

Global Warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide - Global Warming: The Cold, Hard Facts? By Timothy Ball
No Smoking Hot Spot (The Australian)
Those two articles take Greenhouse Theory at face value and by the criterion set up in the theory itself finds no evidence of warming on the basis of greenhouse effect.
Sky-high hole blown in AGW theory?
"Forbes reports on a peer-reviewed study that uses NASA data to show that the effects of carbon-based warming have been significantly exaggerated. In fact, much of the heat goes out into space rather than stay trapped in the atmosphere, an outcome that started long before AGW alarmists predicted:"
That article explains why no Hot Spot has been found.
The Hidden Flaw in Greenhouse Theory
Falsification Of The Atmospheric CO2 Greenhouse Effects Within The Frame Of Physics
Harvard astrophysicist dismisses AGW theory, challenges peers to 'take back climate science'
It Is Impossible For A 100 ppm Increase In Atmospheric CO2 Concentration To Cause Global Warming
Simple Chemistry and the Real Greenhouse Effect.
Those five articles each show that Greenhouse Theory has no basis in reality due to a direct conflict with the known laws of physics. No wonder the smoking gun "hotspot" can't be found.
Claim That Sea Level Is Rising Is a Total Fraud
That article kills any thought of planetary warming from any cause. Think about it. If there is absolutely no sign of rising sea levels how could the planet be warming? The rise in sea level in the last 100 years is almost exactly the same as the average over the last 40,000 years caused by the inter-glacial period we are in.
I hope you wiped it off first!
Al Roker?
Or Joe Bastardi?
[for those who don’t know, Joe Bastardi has repeatedly debunked the Global Warming crowd]
Well, I am appalled that the no-talent, obnoxious, and unattractive Roker is a TV personality.
saying the name of a storm is not scientific evidence of global warming.
the fact researchrs have been warping data to prop up junk science theories, now that’s real evidence right there.
Roker was so honored to be at Zero’s White Hut, he couldn’t contain his excrement.
Another brilliant move by the libs having NBCU buy WC and spew out propaganda under the guise of reporting.
I saw the other day they are going to start showing "carbon" maps along with weather maps.
Thanks Ernest.
Because if I want to hear a learned opinion about the climate, my first stop would be Al Roker.
(Al, one word for you: “Busted!” Soon, it will be a minority who believe in AGW.)
He is so appalled that he pooped in his pants...
Two words for Roker:
Pooper Scooper
Say...I looked up “superstorm” on dictionary.com, and I did not get any results.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/superstorm?s=t
It seems like someone might have written them altogether in an effort to make Al Poopypants look less foolish.
And just remember, Al is the smartest one on the show...
Nice global warming early spring we’re having ay?
