The son of former president Ronald Reagan warns in an op-ed published Tuesday that legalizing gay marriage will lead to “polygamy, bestiality and perhaps even murder.”
Michael Reagan, a political consultant, made the claims as he calls on church leaders to stand up and fight against same-sex marriage. …

Not such a stretch. In fact, it's already happening.
AIDS is the first disease that has been granted "civil rights" to be completely covert. People don't have to tell their sexual partner that they are infected. This is essentially murder if the other person dies.
Maybe jealous "spouses"...
It’s not explicit in the article, but apparently Michael is saying that if this particular bit of “moral legistlation” is questioned, and eventually discarded, other laws that legislate moral behavior, such as laws against murder, may be in danger.
IOW, it seems to be a backhanded slap at those who say, “You can’t legislate morality.”, more than an actual fear murder may become “legal” someday.

I know it's a Brit publication. And he isn't bashful about cashing in on his name. But the headline bugs me.
Murder by AIDS. Interesting theory. Certainly HIV has gotten enough press for people to know that unprotected gay sex with a stranger carries risks.
Also ... not sure how gay ‘marriage’ would lead to higher AIDS risks, or higher risk of murder-by-AIDS. Gay people already have sex. I can see the argument that it leads to polygamy, incestuous marriage, bestial marriage, general degeneracy, the breakdown of the family ... but I’m still not seeing how it leads to murder.
I don’t think that’s what he’s talking about.

The Brits are not going to know right away who Michael Reagan is just by the name.
To be willing to either be celibate, due to singlehood, or keep your sexual activities to your marriage partner requires a fair bit of self-control.
The inability to practice self-control makes one more likely to be hostage to one’s emotions. If you’re a hostage to your emotions, you would be more prone to commit acts like murder.
The murder is already there. Its called abortion.
False. Many, if not most, states have laws requiring people to disclose to their sexual partners if they HIV and/or AIDS.
