Not a good idea... just shooting blindly through a door. That’s a good way to kill somebody you actually like. It’s also true that with a door in between it’s hard to argue that there was actually a grave and imminent danger, yet.

I am referring to Carl Rowan, who - way back when - wanted to disarm the world.
Seems like one night in 1988 some young lad and a friend or two climbed the fence to his property and went for a midnight swim in his pool.
Seems like Carl got his HANDGUN and shot the kid. Fact that the kid was White really didn’t matter - We ‘know’ Carl didn’t live in ‘THAT’(other) neighborhood.
His son was a former FBI agent and gave him the gun for protection.

I was in my house in North Carolina.

“Stand four feet back because I’m going to shoot now!”

The police came by and said...
