Although Ebert's a leftist POS, he's gone through pure hell with cancer and shown a lot of guts and class in fighting a particularly horrible, disfiguring form of the disease. As can be seen from this article, it looks like he's going to be in the hands of the Lord in a fairly short time. Each of us should say a brief prayer for him.

The prognosis doesn’t look good at all. Prayers up and hopes that Mr. Ebert knows as much peace as is possible in the times ahead.

I’m sorry, but the contempt that liberals show people like me, and the outright war on liberties causes me to see them as enemies, not as fellow Americans.

He's a human being, a gifted film reviewer, and an example of great courage under extreme duress.
God bless him.

Each of us should say a brief prayer for him. I have. I value his input on movies. Every film he puts down is the one I will see.

I totally disagree with him but I wish him the best. Only a very few of the worst monsters in history deserve what he’s going through; Ebert certainly doesn’t. Good luck to him.

Looking at a picture of him, his face all disfigured, brings nothing but sympathy for him. I cannot imagine going through life like that.
Regardless of his political views, I pray for his health and recovery.

Ebert has said some truly foul things over the last few years that cannot be ignored even when weighing them against his slow and miserable decline from that horrible disease he's suffering from.
I can't say I wouldn't likewise be inconsolably bitter should the same thing happen to me, but I hope that I wouldn't make a spectacular ass out of myself that greatly mitigates any sympathy towards me like how I regard Roger Ebert right now.
So here's your prayer from me, Roger: 'Good luck with that thing you got'.

Liberalism is a cancer on our great country. Since Ebert has chosen to help spread that cancer in his works and has been so vicious towards anyone who disagrees with him I see this as his own evil coming back to consume him.
His illness is a terrible one, but I can not shed a tear for the fact that he chose to be an enemy to the very things I hold dear makes him an enemy to me.
The only thing I can wish for him is that he goes quickly.
He will not be given sympathy from me.
To: libstripper
I pray that he will meet the Lord.
Soon.

Looks like the evil he’s harbored against his fellow Americans for so long, is finally eating him alive.
We’ve said it here for years: liberalism kills. Literally.
